Actually it’s not bad. I’m still a big fan of the gold and the black keeper jersey that went with it but that navy jersey is nice

The birthday is coming up so might just have found a present for the folks to get me, it looks fairly class. Real 1998 Adidas navy jersey vibe to it.

Nice, but think they could have gone with white cuffs like Galway's new jersey and white shorts also. But it's nice. It'll sell.

AH ya CarraiMick, it's not the worst, but I'll reaffirm my stance above, Unless it’s a long sleeve retro 80’s style, I won’t be dipping the paw into the pocket

Am I the only one here who doesn't care a jot about jerseys? Beyond them being green and gold?

Am I the only one here who doesn't care a jot about jerseys? Beyond them being green and gold? To paraphrase the adage: Us fools and our money!! I do often wonder though how many jerseys are sold on an annual basis in every county. At this stage Kerry, like every other team, seems to have a new match kit produced every year between either the home one or the alternative one. That's excluding goalie kits. On top of that you can throw in the training jerseys that are also churned out now every year. And then of course we've had the recent mania of 'commemorative jerseys' started by Cork back in 2019 with their War of Indo one. I know the Kerry commemorative jersey from 2021 was meant to have sold exceptionally well, but as I said, I'd be curious to see just how many jerseys are sold each year in a county like Kerry. You'd wonder how parents etc have the money to keep buying new kits for their children every 12 months!

It would have been an out standing jersey if they hadn't put the stripes on the shoulders.

Yes. One downside of all these alternative coloured Kerry jerseys is when you're in Croke Park on semifinal or final day and there's a mis-mash of colours amongst the Kerry supporters in the Cusack stand. Alternative colours are grand but IMO green and gold should be the 'rule' in CP!!

There should be an amnesty for those pink jerseys. Anyone who bought one should he allowed exchange it for a green & gold one by the end of March. They should all then be burned and never spoken of again

Hi lads I’m on the look out for an early 90s jersey if anyone has any. Looking for the one with the blue Kerry group logo across it and/or the Emerald activewear one from 1996.
Willing to pay cash but I have a 97 Millfield and a 99 Adidas jersey that I could swap also.
Send me a pm if you’re interested or know anybody that would be interested. Thanks

Walking past a group of people in navy (Kerry) jerseys before a match last year, a friend remarked that she thought there wasn't a curtain raiser on the day. I said there isn't any. So who are the group in navy supporting she asked? As an aside, I think the current Mayo jersey is dreadful.

While what yez are saying isn't wrong, the alternative have to contrast first colours as much as possible - that is the point, and the same for all teams. And the greater the contrast the more likely that at least one side can don their, well their true colours? I wouldn't care if they wore flour bags once the score board was right!
