Do we care who we meet? No I dont think so. Nobody gave us a chance today. We have nothing to lose. Bring them on.Dublin 1/10 but then Donegal are still there 1955,1975,1978,1984,2009 etc etc Bring them on.

Its strange, I would always say I would like to see Dublin out, but its horrible to want a team that play football like Donegal to win. If Donegal are good enough to beat the dubs and stop them from scoring well they are certainty good enough to do it to Kerry. This is Dublin's first real test in the championship so dont be suprised it they find this one very awkward

I reckon Kerry would beat Donegal, purely on having better forwards. Kerry v Dublin would be too close to call but would be the better match.
Midfield is now a strength for Kerry, Maher & Moran beat the O'Sheas hands down,

As a Corkman may I be the first to (grits teeth) congratulate ye on winning the All-Ireland Senior Football Chammpionship 2014. Yere name is on it, no doubt about it. I am honestly not acting the maggot here, I am always astonished at the readiness of analysts and "experts" to write off Kerry's chances of winning the AI when ye don't have a so-called "strong" team at the start of the year. They did it at the start of this year despite the fact that last year ye came closer to beating Dublin than any other team (ye were leading with a minute of normal time left if memory serves me right). I know Dublin won by a handy score in the end but that flattered them greatly.Sure Kerry have a strong team every year because they have young players who have never been heard of before that arrive on the big stage and play as if they have been there all their lives. It's something genetic that no other footballing county has. Dublin were extremely fortunate to beat ye on the previous two championship meetings. If they get to the final they won't be so lucky again. If Donegal pull off a shock today I would say ye could handle them too.

Well how we mange Cluxton's kick outs will be the major question the next day, if he goes long at least we should have confidence in the air. Our fast forwards will have to put huge pressure on the short kick outs.

We may have a lot more to worry about on how to figure out a 15 men behind the ball tactic rather than Cluxton's kick outs!

Very magnanimous of you.....or else your just being a cute * and trying to build us up as favourites!! Either way, fair play it's good to see that there's still some traditional GAA spirit left in things. We're getting a little "Premier League-ish" with all the bitter interactions between counties over the past week or more.

Suits ye all the more. The meeja have built Dublin up to be invincible when the truth is they have faced very poor opposition so far. Don't get me wrong, they are a very good side, just not unbeatable.

Let's watch today's semi in a relaxed mind frame and then worry about the victor when it is known. The bookies say its irrelevant even playing the SF or F as the odds of 1/11 insist its a foregone conclusion. Perfectly poised for a shock result.

Donegal gonna be hard to beat. That defensive system is something special and they now have 2-3 forwards in form all of a sudden. Understandably they'll be firm favourites; I guess they'll be eager to "do it for Jim".

Kerry were 7/4 to beat mayo if I remember correctly.

Kerry were shorter against Mayo, 11/8 best price.

Has the same two teams been in the minor and senior final before? Saw it somewhere earlier, 1979 was last time it happened

Has the same two teams been in the minor and senior final before? It has indeed. Kerry v Dublin in 1979. We won the senior, lost the minor. Tom Spillane and Ambrose O Donovan played that day.

Should have had more faith in my doubts and put some money on it - would have paid for the final weekend.

McGunniess didn't waste much time starting the mind games. Twice he referenced Kerry's celebrations in media interviews after the semi-final with Dublin - stating 'Kerry celebrated their semi-final win like they had won the All Ireland!' It doesn't take a genius to work out what he'll be telling his players. Donegal will be very difficult to beat no doubt about it. However, Kerry's mental strength and resolve has been well tested by Mayo and Eamon has been getting the heads right for battle all Championship - he and Kerry will not flinch now. Belief is key!
