AOM's boots made €30,000 for the 'Home from Home' charity at an auction in London and I've no doubt they will be returned to the rightful owner, the young lad. And Aidan travelled over at the weekend for the occasion, well how could he miss it, ah life only gets better!

In today's paper he's claiming that his articles are the reason Kerry won the final this year, he does have a rather Bono sizes ego. Nobody will deny that he is a mouthpiece but he is critically very sharp and were not for his unpleasent trashing of amateur players on the airwaves he would be a far more respected pundit. He very often identifies strengths and weaknesses in teams that are not identified by the other pundits and to be fair to him I don't think there are many people who would give a kidney to a total stranger as he did. Well Joe Brolly ! What do you think of that ,,, My thinking is that Brolly may in fact be a new world record...anyone want to guess how many couric's Joe equates to?!!! lol

A bita late reading has me recalling how bad our backs were this year, then AO'M cancels Murphy while an unknown gets MOTM in AI final. If that is bad I can't wait for 'good', 'greatness'! As the excitement wears off I think we will only begin to realise what we have achieved and it must be the fastest transition in history. Having said that there was very little between the 4 semi finalists and I expect the same 4 to be there again next year. Dublin are favourites but I think we may prevail yet again and for reasons I'll keep to myself as I have a wee wager at 100/1 for 3 in a row.

...I think we will only begin to realise what we have achieved... I don't think we achieved anything!

And AO'Ms boots are now back with the young lad Aidan gave them to, what spirited gestures all 'round. Fit and fill them he will one day for sure, sure he already has!
