According to twitter upto 21 positive cases on the Tyrone panel. Unconfirmed of course. This is a nightmare for the GAA.

Only thing I'd say is if 21 of em are positive a weeks postponement wouldn't be much use...isolate for 10 days and you're only back the Thursday(19th)

All will be revealed later supposedly. We'll know the truth soon I suppose. If it is as bad as rumoured, there's only really 2 solutions at hand; 1. Walkover (Not great, gives Kerry a 5 week break from MF to AI Final) 2. Play a Makeshift team next Sunday (Players who don't have Covid-19 and/or Tyrone U20s, again not great but better than a walkover)

So we are left in the dark with this . Might nearly be a walk over .considering the game will be televised it will leave Kerry a week until the final provided we get their . Pk would be hopping

I wouldn't expect tickets to go on general sale at all for this one. From social media posts I've seen most clubs were oversubscribed for their allocation. I can't see a walk over scenario being accepted by anyone, so expect at least a week's delay on semi final and as a knock on that the Final would be played a week later.

My guess is if it is postponed it will mean playing a week later and then having the AI Final on Saturday September 4th (The womens final is booked in for the Sunday), presumably with a 6pm or 7pm throw in. In relation to tickets, they will not be released until the GAA are more certain about whats gonna happen, it looks likely that Offaly vs Roscommon in the U20 will be played as a standalone fixture with a slightly less capacity so that would mean whatever tickets given out will have to be redistributed as the GAA will now need to have 2 different tickets for the 2 different games.

If the game gets pushed back (and I hope it does as a walkover or hammering an extremely weakened team is no use to anyone), I hope Sligo sends a complaint into Croke Park demanding why they were treated differently to Tyrone. I hope they get their hands on serious funding for CP's ill treatment of them.

From a Kerry perspective, David Moran and Paul Murphy both recently spoke out saying how 2 weeks between games is ideal preparation. However and extra week will give Dara Moynihan and Diarmuid O Connor more time to recover from their injuries.

John Fogarty from the Examiner has it on Twitter that the game is postponed to the 21st with the final to be moved to Sat 4th September.

The right choice in fairness. Can't be listening to dopes trying to put an asterisk beside any success.

The Offaly and Roscommon game will now be stand alone at 1.30pm, attendance will still be 24,000 for that game. The only question I have is for the fans who end up going and have paid €50 for the ticket, they will surely have to be reimbursed.

AI Final pushed back to September 4th, the same day Ireland are playing a WC qualifier in front of 25,000 fans at the Aviva.

Assume capacity can now be increased to 35/40k supporters in line with attendance for finals - no reason why not!

Presume this will mean extra tickets will be available to the two competing counties as the U20 will not be the curtain raiser - just looking for some positives!!!
Should be a good atmosphere in Dublin that weekend with the Hurling final the following day and the soccer in the Aviva.

Whatever about moving the semi final, not playing the final on September 5th is a farce - a Saturday evening All Ireland Final is not convenient for anyone except Dublin.
The LGFA should be told when they book Croke Park for finals that in the event of a draw in the hurling or football, then their game is switched to the Saturday.

They booked it fair and square, don't take bookings if you can't honor them. The time of the game on the Saturday should be around 3pm and not 6pm. The TV audience be damned.
