yeah but dat means nout in the chamionship dis yr..if anything, dat could give a few lads swelled heads...thinking they should be too good for some teams...i often hear lads say "weve so many lads underage dis year and look what we done last year" and older member of my panel told me recently dat dey won something years ago with 8 minors at un 21 grade and they taught too they would win for the next 3 years but it never happened

East Kerry have 13 out of last years 15 that came close to beating south kerry in the final. thats much better than dingles young guns

minors are ruled out so that would destroy smaller club teams like dingle

You can be sure if it comes down to it the likes of Dingle,Crokes and Rahillys will have their minors playing no doubt! I have a feeling Crokes are strong enough to go all the way! I know they didnt even get to the final of the under21 east kerry championship but with a full team I feel they will be able to get it together! South Kerry and East Kerry are obviously very strong! hopefully East Kerry will do it!

A bit like the 1st rounds of the senior championship, the opening games will really just stand to get the weaker sides out of the way ! The real action won't begin until the quater finals !
The tie of the round has to be Mid Kerry and Dingle ! Mid Kerry were minor champions 3 years ago, while Dingle took South Kerry to extra time in the semi last year and have won Div 1 of the minor league in recent years !
I can see a couple of these first round games been one sided affairs ! I'd go for Shannon Rgs, Mid Kerry, St. Kierans, St. Brendans, Crokes and Feale Rgs, to join South Kerry and East Kerry in the quater finals !
This competition will probably be dragged out a bit, as a good number of the teams have key personal involved with the Kerry seniors, aswell as players abroad for the summer !

What potential players are available to shannon rangers; Ballyduff have harrington, 2 gradys, shane o connor, is donegan underage, mikey boyle, jersey
Ballydonoghue have 2 mahonys
Tarbert have ambrose lanigan, jimmy holly, shane enright
Ballylongford have kiki, liam foley
Beale have browne
I am struggling after this but like I said before and I have gut feeling they will, if ballyduff dont make players themselves available shannon rangers are in serious trouble. if they do pull out they should be expelled

Decent looking team even tho the half forward line looks alittle weak. Gary Dowling will surely play either centre forward or midfield. Are eddie mangan and barry o grady injured?

Not too clear on it yet. Club teams like Dingle, Gaeltacht, Strand Rd, Laune rgs, and the Stacks will be caught if minors cant play. There is a tralee competition being played before the championship begins where minors can play. That will include town teams possibly Dingle and Laune Rgs, as well as brendans and keirans who are confirmed to take part
