A Cork fan once told me why Cork hate the back door:
'Whatever chance we have of beating them once we'll never beat the shaggers twice'
I'll be supporting Cork for this reason, (of course after we have beaten Armagh)

I'll support Cork because you can be sure all the Donegal fans will be supporting Armagh! And if any of the Armagh fans stay after been beaten they will shout for Donegal! We need to balance it up a little. Plus I want us to meet Cork in the semi and beat the sh!te out of them. ;D ;D ;D

As I am on a good streak at the moment..... Waterford at the weekend +3 (11/10) are a great bet.. Agree with ASabu that the 2 McCarthys are weak links in the Cork half forward line...
If i was Waterford I would play THE DAN in full forward/corner and by-pass the wing forward line like I would expect them to....Leave Mullane and THE DAN in the full forward line alone.
Do not think Cork without canty will beat Donegal..... Their selection of Niblock at centre forward is reckless..They should have put Shields full back and bring on a wing back sub instead of moving Pearse O Neill mid-field...Donegal 6/5
Kerry to win by 4-6 pts: 4/1
€10 to win €220

Not sure about putting Dan in full / corner forward Walter - he has really flourished this year on the wing and even said himself it brings him more into the game. He's not a fan of being stuck in the corner or waiting for the ball to come in.

Congrats to Cork.
Its probably the first time that I actually did not mind seeing Cork win a match of any significance.Knowing that we have upped the ante and they have lost Canty must hand us a huge advanti(sorry got carried away) advantage.
There is an old saying that it is very easy to hate a nation but very hard to hate a person.
This springs to mind when we speak about Cork.Even though they are far from a nation.
Congrats to Nicki Murphy today. A true GAA man and a true gent to boot.
What a clash we have in store at midfield for the semi final.
Bring it on.

>:(Like the pathetic excuses for performances they gave in the last two "great classic all-Munster occasions" we were treated to, where the "soft-talking, self-deceivers of the south" came to an entente cordial agreement that Kerry would kick scores for fun and Cork would concentrate on booking their hotels for the hurling final............maybe they will actually give yis a game this time, instead of a neighbourly free pass VIP express access to Croker in September!

Waterford are a funny hurling bunch. They have the skill, they have the passion, they have the belief - until they are making the final ascent. To me, they are the Colin Montgomerie of hurling. It's almost as if they don't have that inner winning instinct which only champions have. They believe they are good enough, and have been to so many semi finals recently that they know what it takes to win. But putting that into action, making that final step, really believing that yes, we can make that step into the final, is beyond them.
It's annoying, because they are a great team to watch. You'd love to see Ken McGrath have a medal for his efforts, and Paul Flynn too, one of the most natural scoring forwards of any generation. But, but, but.
Yesterday, they should have pulled away. Cork were there for the taking.
If Cork go on to win the three in a row, it will have been purely by belief in themselves. They have been outplayed in too many games over the past two years, but always showed the winning belief. Can they go one step further?

The goalies were the difference......... Hennessy kept launching mindless puckouts onto the Cork half back line just as Davy Fitz did last year........ and he also gave possession away at the end......... Meanwhile the Cork goalkeepers general play and placement of his possession was flawless.

So to help pay for the trip to Dublin, Back the perfect Kerry weekend Donegal to beat cork 5/4 Kerry to beat Armage 6/5 and Waterford to beat cork in the hurling 11/4. Ud get around 17/1 for a treble with Boylesports Are you a little sorry you didn't take my advice?? ;)Hope Cork winning wasn't too painful for you.

You wouldn't have paid for much of a weekend in Dublin with those bets anyway. Hope you backed Kerry when the odds were a bit better then now too.

i see micko has been banned from the sideline for the laoise game at the weekend, another rediculous kick in the B**** for the great man,are they trying to tell us that the championship would be better off without the drive, class and will to win the great man brings to the game. its seems he will be taking the legal route on this one.

Well, if Cork lose to Kerry, then we will face one of the four teams this weekend.
Any thoughts on the matches? I see Mayo have lost Austin O'Malley which is a fair blow. Laois I fancy to win this one. It would great for the game to see two Leinster teams in the semi final simply because of the hype it would bring (and take pressure away from Kerry if we were guaranteed a Leinster team in the final - two managed by Kerry men, the third being the auld enemy of the glory years and before). Now from a football prespective, I'm not so sure, after all, we've all said Leinster is dirt weak so what that says for the football championship this year is anybodies business).
Dublin v Westmeath. Dublin haven't have a game in a few weeks now, which we saw didn't stand well to either Armagh (lost) or Cork (squeaked through after the rustiest of rusty first halves). Westmeath have got results out of nowhere so maybe, just maybe, we might see a shock? I really don't think so, because I wouldn't have fancy a crack at the Dublin full back line if we get a chance. Dublin have the most underrated GAA player out there, Shane Ryan, and expect another massive game from him on Sunday.
The small ball game on Sunday should be a belter, but I just think Clare left the last of the juice behind them against Cork last year. That game has haunted them since but I don't think it's made them any better. Kilkenny are slowly going about their business and I think they will really begin to crank into gear on Sunday. It's a pity in one way because I'd like to see somebody like Clare in the All Ireland final, but Kilkenny are the only team who realistically can beat Cork I think, and they have plenty in reserve to make a good go at it, including the shows strongest bench. I've always had a hankering for Kilkenny this year and won't desert them now. Kilkenny by six.

lasbrokes are offering 12 to 1 for a draw in the dubs v wtmeath game and 66 to 1 for weatmeath to win,can that be right,if it is i think westmeath are worth a shot of 50 euro at 66 to 1.
i think we will see a laois dublin semi, mayo and laoise could be a cracker.
