teams to be in 1/4 finals. South kerry-too much for both feale rgs and west kerry. miltown/castlemaine, Laune rangers, Ghaeltacht-dingle still a bit off the mark despite excellent result against kilcumin. KOR, Crokes, Stacks, st Keirans-think they will take mid kerry

How come everyone are making St Brendans the favourites to beat Stacks?I wouldnt give St Brendans much chance in that one especially as Stacks are coming off a good win over Laune Rangers. Gaeltacht should have too much for Dingle, but i expect Dingle to make it a better game than last year.
Quarter finalists: South Kerry Milltown?Castlemaine Laune Rangers Gaeltacht Rahillys Crokes Stacks St Kierans

I think st brendans have a great chance of beating the stacks, but they will have to get an even level of posession around midfield and get fast ball into their forwards, if they can keep tabs on donaghy they can do it.

If Rathmore can annihilate them then Brendans have every chance.

they ve a tough draw really and will be hard for them to come out of it-but would love to see them doing it!alot of people write off clubs in this forum which is great really-because most of the people dont know anything about the clubs there writing off!Dingle and Mitcheals written off straight away by other members-i hope these two teams prove them all wrong

Best of luck. Would love to see Dingle go well and i think you have a really good young team with bags of potential. Think this year might be a bit early for some of them though.

the gealtacht game is the game they ve been waiting for and i think they ll catch them out this time around-they ve a years experience now of championship standards and that has been evident against kilcummin were again noboy gave them a chance-they ll fancy themselves this time around-they ve nothing to lose now!will be a tight match by all accounts these games always are!once they dont give away too many frees inside the 50 they should put it up to them

dingle are flying high now after their "shock"win over kilcummin. that could provide the platform for they to provide amother shock in the championship.
but if the gaeltacht get going right they should be too strong for them.
does anyone expect west kerry to match last years run.judging by their performance against kenmare they have to improve a lot.

Saying that I do think Dingle are a good young side but their main strength is that excellent forward line. Gaeltacht have the best set of backs in the Championship in my opinion to mark good players and I don't think Dingle will dominate midfield like they did against Kilcummin. I fancy Gaeltacht but like you say I wouldn't be writing Dingle off just yet.

well i do fancy dingle to put it up to them around midfield to be honest about it!gealtacht will be hard to beat no doubt but championship is championship and anything can happen on the day!it will come down to whoever wants it most on the day!time will tell if this dingle side have the bottle to compete with the best!

Put it up to them yes. But Gaeltacht have the best midfielder in the country for the last ten years in their ranks and they won't enjoy the same sort of dominance that released their forwards against an inexperienced Kilcummin midfield.

Heard the fixtures call out this morning on the radio !
On Friday night East Kerry take on Shannon Rgs in Fitzgeral Std @ 7.30 (I think) ! Both these sides were major dissapointments in the opening round, but with home advantage I would give a hesitant vote to East Kerry, even though there is meant to be a share of infighting going on there !
On Saturday night Kilcummin travel to Killorglin to take on Laune Rgs and Feale Rgs travel to Annascaul for an encounter with West Kerry ! Both games are again on at around 7.30 or 8 pm !
Laune Rgs are going bad this year and are in a type of transition ! Kilcummin got a terrible hiding of Dingle and are bound to launch some bit of a backlash ! This will go down to the wire, but you still have to go with Laune Rgs ! West Kerry and Feale Rgs is another toss of the coin ! Feale were unlucky to lose to The Brendans and played some good football in the first half of that game ! West Kerry got well beaten by Kenmare and from what I hear they are'nt pulling well this year ! With Maurice Corridon and Eamon Breen back in the fold, I expect Feale Rgs to book a last 16 date with the County Champions !
On Sunday @ 2.30 Miltown are at home to John Mitchels ! Mitchels have made strides this year, but I just feel that their one big game is gone out of them, and Miltown wont be caught by them !

Everyone involved in that shannon rangers set up should be utterly ashamed of themselves. Scoring 1-2 in 60 minutes is a disgrace. Now I must add that East Kerry are a team that wth a bit of luck on their side could win this champ I just hope that Feale Rangers can put a bit of pride back in north kerry football Can someone post up the team lists form last night?

west kerry 0-12, feale rangers 1-11. feale rangers physically too strong for the west. Fitzmaurice only came on at half time helped change the game though.ref mit aswell be wearin a feale rgrs jersey, waved away 2clear penalties for west kerry in the 1st half, gave feale rgrs few easy frees nearing end of game.

The ballyduff manager walked away at start of week alright as he wanted all the ballyduff players ( 8) which played mid kerry to be on again plus one or two more

The duffers are at it again! They love a fight out there.
Shannon Rangers must have been dire to the world.

I can't believe that Niall Mahoney didn't start for East Kerry. It says something when himself and Donald Sullivan can't get their game. They would be far better forwards than what is there. A good win nonetheless. Dunno why there wasn't extra time in the Kilcummin game. 9-9. Low scoring again by Kilcummin - Ben Brosnan being away is taking a lot out of their forward line. Replay should be a close affair again but I would fancy East Kerry to beat either side provided they put the work in. We all know divisional sides get better as the games build on but a couple of fellas heading to the states could weaken East Kerrys forward division.
