here is where it all starts now....weve been producing decent minor teams for the last 15 years, but once they leave minor, our record is appaling. no u-21 munster title since 2008 and only 2 since 99...thats a terrible record.
needs to start changing this quickly, so theres still alot of work to do for the county board.

The loss/non-gain of Buckley is a massive blow.

The loss/non-gain of Buckley is a massive blow. I recently spoke to the 2 of the players who were very excited about his appointment and mentioned that it had given the whole potential panel a lift. I'm sure that they will get someone else in who can do a good job however

Yeah they will need it badly. The last few years have been very bad at U21 level and I don't think Seamus Moynihan (who I don't know of as having coached anywhere before?) as being the difference between poor set-ups and a good one by himself.

Surely the u21s can train on different nights to the Mayo seniors? It is not like there is a major overlapping of the u21 season with the senior season.

2 Munster u-21 titles in 14 years and none since 2008....quite appaling.
we also had no player u-21 on our panel this year, when was the last time we won an all ireland without a young player on the squad?

Would I be right in saying that? It would be a great bonus to have him apart of the u21s if they can accommodate that!

Hopefully donie buckley will be available.Could be the difference between winning All ireland and not.
The team will prob be something along these lines
Shane Ryan Fionan Clifford Gavin Crowley Padraig O Connor Jack Barry Denis Daly Matthew Flaherty Kieran Murphy Adrian Spillane Greg Horan Jack Savage Micheal Burns Conor Keane Brian Crowley Killian Spillane
Panel: Gavin Curran Dingle Conor Jordan Austin Stacks Niall Sheehy John Mitchels Darragh Roche Glenflesk Cillian Fitzgerald Churchill Sean T. Dillon St Senans Cathal Ó Lúing An Ghaeltacht Eanna Ó Conchúir An Ghaeltacht David Foran St Senans Gavin O’Shea Dr Crokes Sean Moloney John Mitchels Barry O Sullivan Dingle Brian O Beaglaich Gaeltacht Darragh Carmody Na Gaeil Tom O Sullivan Dingle
The selectors will have a tough job picking a panel form this bunch of players, serious options available to Kerry next year.Any omissions please add!

Premier and Kerryseye ye both pick good teams . I think it will be along those lines . Getting out of Munster would be a major achievement in my book anything after that would be a bonus . Dublin , Mayo , the surprise packet for me next year in Ulster could be Monaghan . Fella I know from Armagh told me they have had good minor teams the last 2 or 3 years .

Tadhg O Shea,Fossa has to be worth a look.Man of match v Listry Fr Galvin Cup yesterday. Was on winter panel Kerry minors 2 years ago,and is in a rich vein of form at moment.Has size and skill, and will perform better the step up in class.Have coached against him previously and had to double team him.Kevin McCarthy, and Dara Roche apart from Conor Keane are the best from East Kerry region.
