Poor fare, Crokes too good.
Brendans game plan was hard to fathom - giving up the kick out to Crokes is a recipe for disaster, continued with this tactic.
Crokes used Shaw as their target man & he was too good for Nagle - losing Keating to injury will be a worry for Crokes who had it all too easy.
Nobody putting yo their hand for Kerry panel - some of those who are part of the panel disappointed.

Putting Moran in full forward after half time seemed a good idea but the quality of delivery to him was terrible the odd time they sent him direct ball so it didnt really work out I wouldnt fancy Charlie Keating chances of playing in the final , limped off the pitch really

Crokes deserved winners and should have won by more. There was only two points in it with a few minutes to go which is hard to believe. Brendans were limited in attack. To be fair most of the forwards are barely out of minor and missed Tommy and Barry John. Moran made no impact either. Both Looneys very good. Evan is definitely a prospect. Crokes had a definite game plan of short pass and move and it worked well for them. Brendans attempted a kicking game, kick into full forward line from halfway but a lot of time got the kick wrong. They attempted the 1st half with 1 forward on his own and it back fired, Crokes shot into a 5 point lead which Brendans clawed back to 3 by half time. Big Joe was the standout player for Brendans for me and definitely the 2 Looneys for me were Crokes standout players. Brian Looney my MOTM. I spotted Cian O'Neill in the stand and he would have been impressed by Evan Looney I would have thought. Hopefully Dingle East Kerry is a more competitive fare tomorrow as Crokes won a game they never looked like losing from the 1st minute.

Brendans took off their 2 best performers in Daniel Kirby and Daithi Griffin..
Neither of the 2 former Kerry forwards that people are talking about bringing back in looked anywhere near the standard, if we’re going back to anyone it should be David Shaw.

Agree on the forwards 100% - Paddy Lane & Tomás Kennedy sitting their leaving cert this year, Ferris last year. Crokes far more experienced, clearly defined game plan.

As mention the loss of Tommy Walsh and BJK was just a bridge too far for Brendan’s. The crokes controlled the game at there ease, white and Keating were excellent. Credit to Brendan’s they kept the Crokes marquee forwards quite, but Crokes old brigade stepped up.
Crokes be disappointed that they did not kill the game earlier.

Crokes didn’t score from play for majority of second half until a few quick scores in last 10 minutes. Pat o shea be worried with that.
I feel as if Tommy Walsh was fit from the start and Barry John who has been brendans star performer this year , they would have probably won.
Crokes lack height at the back and Tommy would have been hard to deal with.
Gavin white at 6 seems a different player to wing back version of Gavin. He made some good runs today, runs that we haven’t seen from him since the 2021 semi against Tyrone.

I am not sure Tommy Walsh would have made hay, he can only do so if team mates can kick a half decent ball into him, if they were missing Moran with deliveries well they would probably also have missed Moran

You’ll never win a game with 11 shots. Most teams get 20 plus shots off in games. Crokes were 8-2 up and cruising. Should have been out the gate

Great to be back in a final again . Wasn’t a great game . Game was won in the first half or lost if you’re a Brendan’s man . They gave crokes way too much space and room . Didn’t lay a hand on them . It’s been a great year for the club no matter what happens in the final. Bringing Pat back made a huge difference he got the best out of every player on the panel and he’s well respected by them. The old brigade Fionn Payno Brian Looney Daithi Casey Kieran O’Leary have been excellent all year. Charlie Keating Evan Looney have been outstanding this year. Tom Doyle Cian McMahon will get better . He brought Mikey Lynch and Alex Hennigan in and they’ve gained valuable experience. Well done to the Crokes and looking forward to the final.

The Brendans approach was naive & smacked of inexperience at this level of championship football.
Crokes thrive on possession & for Brendan’s to concede the kick out & not change at any stage is worrying - worrying given that James Costello & Pa McCarthy presided over & prepared in that fashion and will be in the Kerry senior set up in ‘25.

Dingle up by 1 at HT despite playing against the breeze. EK would be better served by playing football instead of this constant fouling - it's almost as if they're afraid of Dingle.

Congrats Dingle, dug deep and deserved winners.
Set for a great club final, Crokes will be weary, winner represents kerry in Munster.
First all club final since stacks and Kerins o rahilly, both now in the intermediate.
Great to see the teams get a rest, it’s been a busy few weeks, 1 win each in the club champ, winner takes all in 2 weeks, looking forward to it.

Well done Dingle, Paul & Dylan Geaney the standout players along with Tom Sull & Barry Dan. Matthew Flaherty was superb in extra time also. I accept Crokes will be favourites for the final but I think this Dingle team will have learned a lot from their defeats to Crokes this year and Dingle have been improving round by round this year. I think both sets of forwards in general will be stronger than the opposition's defences in the final so it will be up to whatever set of forwards performs best on the day will take the Bishop Moynihan home. Exciting final to look forward to.

Dingle deserved winners and should have seen it out in normal time. Several standout performers for dingle as highlighted already. Dylan was the difference but Paul and Barry Dan were incredibly influential throughout and were real leaders.
Both Clifford’s well marshalled I thought. I do think David should have tapped over the bar at the end. Donal Down did well for EK and good to see Ruairi Murphy getting more minutes. Lyne did ok also but overall EK were below par and they never produced that spell of football that they normally do.

What a good number of people were saying about the general level of the East Kerry team being weaker this year was proven today. Neither Clifford performed whatsoever. Question has to be asked why can’t David kick points from range anymore? All 3 Geaneys were kicking pints from further out than where David was missing into the same goal. It’s a theme now which is a worry. Great to see Dylan Geaney perform like he did.

DC looks exhausted and demotivated. Jack should ban him from going near a football again until about the middle of Spring.
