They have been outstanding, ni conchuir and siofra have come into their own. Emma dineen great target and always gives the right ball and O Leary very dangerous anytime she gets it. Galway are no fools ward and leonard and divilly all very good but our style of play will win it, we are very hard to break down. Hats off to management over last few years, kept going.

Kerry looked impressive against Armagh, I think they will win this one, leaving Galway disappointed again.

Only approx. 30,000 tickets sold for tomorrows finals. I was thinking a crowd of 50,000 initially but this clearly won't be the case. 6 counties involved, and considering the tickets are priced between €15-€30 (which is very reasonable), it must be said that this will be a very poor turnout.
Wouldn't be putting any blame on Kerry specifically as there seems to be a good buzz in the county around the final but surely there's more that can be done from participating counties and the LGFA to get a much bigger crowd in for their peak event of their peak competitions.

Over thirty thousand would be a fine crowd. The record crowds were due to the involvement of Dublin and Cork, with their huge centres of population. Also, remember Galway are involved in three finals in three weeks.
Good luck to our ladies.

The very best of luck to our ladies football team & management in this afternoon's final
This particular group under Declan Quill & Darragh Long have turned around the fortunes of Kerry ladies football and have shown huge resilience to keep coming back to reach their 3rd final in a row.
Would be huge for Kerry football. Best of luck all involved

Hey best of luck to the women who are always behind us good men - no doubt they will come to to the fore today and they have shown amazing spirit on the field like they do off of it.
TCB now need to pave the way to introduce and integrate them on here as one thread is hardly representative of what they mean to the community.
Hopefully they will show us men how it is done!
Come on girls - cut loose and tear the house down, rattle the net so hard that the pictures fall off the walls, just like ye rocked the system!
Arise our women of the Kingdom .. Queens of Ireland.

A tremendous team display from the Kerry ladies who played on the front foot from the word go. There was no looking back over the shoulder here as this team went fully after a well-deserved All Ireland title.
Huge congratulations to the Kerry ladies football team and all involved.
UP THE KINGDOM!!

Massive Congratulations to the Kerry ladies football team and management on today's All Ireland win.
I think it was built by a masterclass in defending led by Katelyn Cronin, the opportunities up the field came on the back of the quick ball. Can't beat the fast ball

Massive Congratulations to the Kerry ladies football team and management on today's All Ireland win. I think it was built by a masterclass in defending led by Katelyn Cronin, the opportunities up the field came on the back of the quick ball. Can't beat the fast ball Fast ball but also accurate ball. And it was sticking; some great fielding in evidence. At the other end, the defending was disciplined and strong. This was proper football - all other Kerry teams take note. Well done, ladies, finally some Kerry silverware this year.

Brilliant display by the ladies all round. Delighted for the players and management team after the losses in recent years.
I don’t watch lots of ladies football but when I do the football is a tonic compared to the fare served up in the men’s game. It’s not perfect but contests all over the pitch and teams playing positive football.

Massive congrats to the ladies. Tight disciplined defending combined with moving the ball quickly when we had it made this a fairly complete performance. Galway had no real kicking game and were made to work very hard for every score. By way of contrast, Kerry were very slick and were a joy at times.

Congrats to the Kerry ladies, bridging a 31 year gap, some cruel days out the last 3 years, but today was a result of heard work and learning over the 3 years, enjoy the celebrations one and all. 🏆🎉👏👏👏👏👏🏆

That was a great win. They were driven by the hurt of other campaigns and were inspirationally brilliant . The Kerry seniors are capable of such heroics too. they system they are forced to contend results in staleness and boring football with the odd outburst of excitement. I'm not begrudging Armagh. They played the system and won. Congratulations to the Kerry ladies and supporters. Roll on 2025.

This was as comprehensive a display as I have even seen from a Kerry team in an All-Ireland final, Consummate football. Utterly dominant , as the scoreline suggests. Remember, It wasn’t as if they were opposed by a team of slouches. This Galway team had already beaten Cork and Dublin. Therefore it was a quality team they overwhelmed.
I have seen a lot of this team over the past two or three years and in spite of them winning most of their games I sometimes had an unfulfilled feeling after a lot of their matches. A feeling that they were not doing themselves justice , that there was lot more in them. To me Hannah O’Donoghue was the personification of that untapped potential. I always felt she had the class to be one of the top forwards in the game. But too often there was an element of carelessness, an element of casualness about her play. But today.! The zenith was reached individually and as a team. How appropriate that they choose to reach a climax on the biggest day of the year. Material for a Hollywood mogul.
It is invidious to pick out individuals but one will be forgiven for mentioning Louise, Lorraine and Cait Lynch. They have laboured long and hard and finally they have been rewarded. Not unlike Maurice Fitzgerald. Perhaps, like Maurice they will hang around for a second!
Heartfelt congratulations to the team and their management and the families of the girls. It was a superlative effort but yet they will have to yield pride of place to the toddler in the stand who proudly and unashamedly held up a banner proclaiming “ I’m a ladies man” . Now there is your devout feminist!

A great day for KERRY LGFA ! I enjoyed it immensely only Radio Kerry unfortunately. It brought back Memories from my parents listening to Radio in U.K. Croke Park in 70s. Many references made about ‘playing the kerry way’ Some posters very cynical about that. Bredagh the co commentator said many times about playing simple football no complicated tactics. It resonated with me. Great to see goals being scored and the desire to score more. The Kerry anthem sung ‘Rose of Tralee’ by kerryman was emotional for me anyway. Memories

Do we really need to go elsewhere, outside the county to find someone to coach our players how to play football?

In both cases they stuck at it and got their reward in the end, although Kerry ladies put on a better show today in their final. However, had Aimee Mackin not been injured then Armagh might have qualified for the Ladies final instead of Kerry, and would have beaten Galway twice.

I think so. I can’t help thinking players need inspiration now to help regain confidence and showcase talents once again. They say the game has changed has it really ?

What a performance by the girls today, played a lovely brand of football. It was refreshing to see teams not flooding back immediately after being turned over and over the 3 games today there was 10 goals scored.
I must say, I've been multiple All Ireland finals, double figures at this stage. However, this was my first LGFA AI Finals day and there was a few things the GAA could learn from. I love the fact that everyone gets a county flag on the way in. It really adds to the atmosphere and it made the crowd of 30,340 feel like a lot more. I also think the countdown clock and hooter with clock stopped rather than added time is the way forward. Players know exactly what is left and it stops the feigning of injury to waste time.
I must say I had a great day and after attending 12/14 Mens senior Kerry games between league & championship this year, this was the performance of a Kerry team I enjoyed most,by a long shot.
Congratulations to the girls and hopefully a big crowd show up in Killarney tomorrow night.

One thing I noticed yesterday that while the Kerry defense was just sublime we never had everyone behind the ball.We constantly kept two or three forwards up in the attack which was refreshong to see and Galway backs stayed with them then.
