Hello, other posts, this lady that informed me of the alleged incident, is a female teacher, she went out of her way to tell me, I trust her bona fides, as she is an extremely genuine person, now she could have been sold a duck by her county vice chairman. As they say, talk is cheap, I was only the receiver and I relayed this in putting it out there. During World War 2, a message on posters stated, your talk can get people killed! Hence, fratenising with the enemy. I'm going to investigate this further myself. Please don't shoot the messenger. I will question her further about it and make more enquiries. I do not believe in idol gossip, but I believe in this lady, but she may have been duped by the teller to her. Investigate away but don't bother coming on here with it. If it happened then there are proper official channels for dealing with such issues. |

Did we figure out why Mayo got the ball moved in after the hames of a kick by Hennelly in the second half? I'm fairly sure Dara was more than the required distance back

He may have been waving his hands to distract the kicker which is now a free. I don't know if that was the case

I'm fairly sure Dara was more than the required distance back god be with the days when Marc O'sé would be standing in front of the free taker clapping his hands. Is it against the rules now to stand with your hands in the air? |

The funniest part is if it was for Dara being too close to the ball, the ref moved the ball forward too short as the free was where Dara was. The rule is right to be in if you are putting off the freetaker though. Here Dara did the expected of him, stand back with his hands up. There is no world where Dara put Hennelly off. However, Donaghy in Clones (2018) got away with some amount of distraction on Beggan's freetaking. That's not on. |

I saw on the highlights of the Roscommon v Derry game, the last free kick of the game being taken by Derry to win the game, the Roscommon guy in front of the kicker was doing a river dance trying to put the kicker off and the ref never penalised them, free was missed from the 45, no consistency.

That was discussed on the highlights programme on Sunday night. The Gooch referenced the Hennelly free retake and said that was the reason it was retaken. |
