Hi Kerry GAA, does this mean EK v Stacks might be on terrestrial television this week?

No it isn’t. TG4 are showing games from Roscommon and Dublin this weekend. RTE are showing games from Tyrone.

The tie of the round is Stacks and East Kerry... strange this isn't included in a pay per view option, or is it done deliberately to get bums on seats in ASP at three times the cost?

Hearing that injuries could play a factor this weekend with several teams missing big players.

Shame Stacks/EK game isn't been shown anywhere for those of us that can't make it home.
I hope RTE/TG4 might be allowed show some of the games over the next few weeks though on top of what's being streamed.

The North Kerry brethren on here, what are the feelings on a surprise by Shannon Rangers, Templenoe are missing both Spillanes Adrain and Killian, it’s there best chance of a decent rattle in recent years.
Training numbers and internet is good by all accounts

Training numbers and internet is good by all accounts I am not in a position to say whether a surprise is on the cards or not but I was pleased to read today that Killian will be returning from his travels early in the New Year. Killian should be not too far away from his peak years and I feel he will be hugely important for us in 2022. I have a feeling Jack rates him highly and will be looking to have to have him on the first fifteen more often than not.

By all accounts the are a fair few high profile casualties missing over the weekend. I'm sure we'll hear in dribs n'drabs

Too many clubs squashed into one divisional side means that a lot of good players will not get exposure at county championship level. Stacks might beat them but only as it’s the first match of the championship and stacks are better prepared. If this was a quarter or semi final then EK would win by 6-8 points

This should be big championship for O’Shea in his development yet he won’t be starting. Likewise with Donal O’Sullivan at number 24. 2 players who if Jack O’Connor selected them in a league game next year no one would be any way surprised yet they can’t start at county championship level.

East Kerry have to be split because players are not seeing county championship action.
The fact that there are only eight senior clubs is an issue of course.

The East Kerry team is extremely strong on paper, especially the front Six. I’m amazed that neither Donal O’Sullivan nor Paul O’Shea can make the starting XV. Or does that just prove how strong the division is.
The placing of Murphy at ten is a surprise, it good to see Sherwood selected at six, as it’s his best position in my opinion and despite his age, I still think he can do a job for us next year in this position, however, I still envisage he will revert it the edge of the square this evening to go toe to toe against Donaghy with Donoghue grooming out to number six.
Going to be an interesting clash.

Not really impressed by Stacks defensive set up. Na Gaeils is better.

The divisional teams should always be structured in a way that best suits the Kerry senior team as opposed to what best suits the divisional teams. They are artificial construct after all, with the intention of helping facilitate players making the step up to intercounty level

EK is like a county team at this stage. I'd say there's nobody on the starting 15 that hasn't worn the green and gold at some grade recently. Probably not too many on the bench either.
Legion or Crokes to add to it next year. Getting out of hand at this stage.

Listened the the Spa and Legion game on the way to work, it sounded by the commentary that the same Legion player took one of the first five penalties and one of the sudden death?. Surely the commentator got it wrong yes?
On a second note, what is the story with Liam Kearney, he is seriously that injury prone….
