Hah, I just had a look on there again for the first time since I left. Seems like a ghost town now and the 6pm cut of time is crazy - obviously its a step by step thing to wind it down entirely though what the purpose of the website is meant to be then God knows. The Dubs probably miss us terribly!!! I guarantee they'll show up here at some stage when they realise all the Kerry posters have moved off over here. Though the moderation seems on the ball here so they'll have a frustrating experience! I really hope a lot of the Co championship games will be streamed or shown on tv. I won't have much of a chance to be down home in Nov. Does anyone know yet what weekend the final is scheduled for, I'd really like to be home for it as I've missed the last two ones with Covid and work commitments. ah its fecked for sure, I'd say I'm the only left the Kerry brigade, there's going to be a lot lads with the multiple accounts left idol now 🤪 Not sure of the dates myself but I wouldnt mind finding out.

Ye refugees seem like moderately sane people what were ye doing on that HS forum it is full of morons. it was my wife that found it and she signed me up, I never knew there was such things as forums where you could talk about football, then I discovered this place in 2014 and I tried to join but I couldn't figure out how to register so when we got turfed out HS my wife signed me up. There were a good few morons with multiple accounts on HS which kinda ruined the place and it skewed the debate big time for sure but there were some good lads over there as well.

Ye refugees seem like moderately sane people what were ye doing on that HS forum it is full of morons. Yerra the Kerry forum was good, expect for the odd WUM's that would turn up from the main page to have a laugh the minute Kerry got beat etc. But the main forum got ridiculous by the end, I stopped going onto it entirely. The moderation was non existent - fellas with multiple accounts on there constantly and then accusing anyone they didn't see eye to eye with of doing the same. You couldn't make it up! Even when they were caught out, they'd act as if nothing happened and continue on. A real bitterness towards Kerry pervaded that place too with plenty of lads with Kerry shaped chips on both shoulders. The amount of threads started after a Kerry match by those posters was unreal. Win, lose or draw they'd find something to have a go. And of course woe betide you tired to talk about Dublin and the money and advantages. You were ran out of the place for mentioning any of that

Credit wan of your own 'philosophical' blowin/blowback pals here 'boy. As for Control, HS stuff wouldn't pass - the issue is that all new posters are on probation, an exception was made for you guys and rightly so, a breath of fresh air. FYI take a look at Mandad's postings - takes philosophy to a new level, I hope I didn't frighten him away with praise, browsing over his comments on here would give you a lift on a cold winters morning, a wee tonic!

Il give a look at mandads posts later on when I'm sitting down after the spud, I love reading back over old topics and even old programs when I come across them in the attic. I used to keep all the news papers from the day after Kerry would win an allireland as its nice to look back and see who was humbled or who was happy or who was back peddling 🤔 God we need to get Sam back home to Kerry soon.

Ye refugees seem like moderately sane people what were ye doing on that HS forum it is full of morons. As the lads alluded to, initially it was good, I was posting there about ten years, the lads fell in a good few years back, the draw for me was often on local forums, the wood can't be seen from the trees but with HS when it was honourable you had a diverse range of opinions that would make you question your own stance, as Paidi said we're animals but if you conversed with say a Sligo poster he'd give a differant slant or outside view. Unfortunately, and despite numerous warnings, HS became overrun with non- genuine Gaa posters only sniping to get a reaction. Once that was tolerated there was only ever going to be one outcome. Still it's rare a Stacks mountain man and two boys West of Blennerville Bridge are collectively referred as sane.

Ah K’boy, MooMoo could be fairly cynical too and caused many a row with snuff over the years. When I came on HS f Cute Kerry Hoor was one of the mainstays when i first joined, he was out Rathmore side was a very learned and genuine poster, i loved reading his inputs very knowledgeable man.
I often wondered what happened to him,

Can we now concentrate on the County championship on this thread. The Hogan Stand people have a separate thread to discuss how bad the HS is etc.

Tg4 do show a fair load of club games but to the best of my knowledge they were refused the rights to last years Mid Kerry and East Kerry to final.
They did broadcast a early round or could have even been quarter final double header either last year or the year previous, Stacks took Crokes to extra time the same night.
Anyway the county board stated that the broadcast effected gate receipts so I'd imagine money has a fair bearing.
Am I right in saying the likes of TG4 would pay the county board to permit broadcast ya?

I got slated on here for asking for a live broadcast of the NK final with the excuse was that a pub was bootlegging it. My contention was that we went cap in hand to the US for Currans and I counted some 50 immediate family abroad who were denied.

There was about 3000 at the final id say so the gate wasnt much effected. Hopefully 247 GAA will cover some football games too

Gates are back to full capacity from tomorrow week ya?
I can't see our treasurer agreeing to TG4 but he may be open to €5 a go pay as you go broadcast.
Pity as a lot of the older brigade are still fearful and won't have the "live streaming" option.
I've an elderly neighbour, football mad comes up to the house for online or eir sport games...
People are football starved though I see people at games recently that in the past wouldn't cross the road- it's great to see the crowds even for minor and the upcoming U15 championship.

Feale Rangers v South Kerry - SK
West Kerry v Dr Crokes - WK
Austin Stacks v East Kerry - I just have a feeling the Rockies might give us the big shock of the first round

Dingle v Mid Kerry - Dingle
St Kieran’s v Kerins O’Rahilly’s - The Narries

Mark O’Connor is home. I wonder what are the chances that he lines out for Dingle? As we know he had permission to play while he was home last year. He’d be a huge addition to Dingle.

Any chance of a lock down in Australia so he has to stay until next year and still gets paid by his club while playing for us to keep his fitness up.

Should be some close games next weekend. Stacks getting East Kerry at the perfect time. If Stacks wins it blows the whole thing wide open. Have to favour the club teams given the short time the divisional teams have had to prepare. For me it’s
Spa v Killarney Legion - Spa
Templenoe v Shannon Rangers - Templenoe
Feale Rangers v South Kerry - South Kerry
West Kerry v Dr Crokes - Crokes
Austin Stacks v East Kerry - East Kerry
Kenmare Shamrocks v St Brendan’s - Kenmare
Dingle v Mid Kerry - Dingle
St Kieran’s v Kerins O’Rahilly’s - St Kierans
