How many Dublin players have played championship football who played minor since 2010. Or Mayo? Going by the final programme I'd say the Dubs would have Ciaran Kilkenny, Davy Byrne, Cormac Costello, Lowndes, Mannion, Con O Callaghan, John Small, Niall Scully. I dont think Brian Fenton was a Dublin minor. So thats 8. And thats only lads on this years panel. Not sure if there are many more? Dublin haven't brought through much more than what's named above from minor to date that have commanded regular places, , Brian Howard came on against Westmeaths this year and will be one to watch next year , he's a club mate of Fenton. Jim Gavin deserves credit for putting 3 minors into the 2013 All Ireland winning team. It's u21 that Dublin have got the return. U21 2010 winners gave us Dean Rock, Johnny Cooper, Rory o Carroll, James mc Carthy, lesser extent Ciaran Reddin, Nicky Devereux. U21 2014 ( 9 2011 minor lads plus Fenton ) Jack mc Caffrey, C Kilkenny, E Lowndes, Cormac Costello, J Small, D Byrne, N Scully. B Fenton, P Mannion, E o Conghaile U21 2017 C o Callaghan, Brian Howard.

Looking at the games in Killarney today the Kerry senior team badly needs to be freshened up. Players look stale and disinterested. There is a dearth of six foot plus players in the county that play football right up the middle and dominate games.

Mayo, Dublin and Tyrone the 3 toughest games. All on the road. They'll be doing very well to be in the hunt for a finals places with all the new players they'll need to be blooding. Perfect breeding ground to see what fellas are made of though.

The Donegal game is down for Sunday. If that's the case it won't be under lights

The games under lights in ASP tend to have a very good atmosphere. It would be a pity to lose these

Group 2 - Leinster Champion, Ulster Champion, Munster Runner-Up/Team that beats them in Round 4 Qualifier, Connacht Runner-Up/Team that beats them in Round 4 Qualifier

Would we be better off then 'throwing' the munster final and going in the same group as Dublin?

Would we be better off then 'throwing' the munster final and going in the same group as Dublin? I'd have to disagree, once in a championship season is enough to play and beat (maybe?) Dublin, but that's my opinion,

Okay, the most predictable Munster draw for the 3rd year in a row, I think we should just go back to an open draw.

Not too surprised about the other two either really.

Both players are heading towards their mid 30s and had good innings. Natural progression.

Hate to say but there's a part of me that wouldn't mind Crokes being beaten soon so we can get some of these young ballers into Kerry training.
