btw, I think Tyrone are a much more attacking team than we're being given credit for .... all this talk of Tyrone being ultra defensive doesn't really add up lads .. look at the sores we're putting up.. I think we're very solid defensively but so are Dublin & Kerry ... I really do think we're lethal when in attack and fantastic to watch .. maybe its red & white tinted glasses but I feckin love watching Tyrone in attack mode... Sludden, Harte, Donnelly, McCann etc.. in full flow are some spectacle... I agree but they would definitely lose a shootout. Oh for sure ... but who wouldnt? ..... well Maybe Kerry would have a chance with your forwards but Im not so sure about that either .. the Dubs would probably be too strong for anyone in an out & out shootout.. But then a shootout isnt on the cards for either semi or the final ... Defense is "first & foremost" on all 4 teams' plan of action.

Just after hearing Ronaldo got a 5 match ban for pushing the ref last night in the game against Barcelona.
I assume that was Pat Spillane's fault too?

Im not really a betting man but I usually do a few every year and before the Donegal match I put £100 on Tyrone for Ulster at 13/8 and another £100 on them for the AI at 15/2... one up so far ... I had £20 on Galway to beat Tipp and put the winnings back on as follows ... £10 at 8/1 Tyrone v Dublin to draw.. and £25 at 5/2 Tyrone win.. (i wasted the rest ...)I think we're gonna take Dublin edit .. just had an almost immediate premonition of this post coming back to haunt me lol

Can't see Tyrone beating either Mayo or Kerry in the final, poor recent record Vs both.

Can't see Tyrone beating either Mayo or Kerry in the final, poor recent record Vs both. lol ...If we do manage to get past the Dubs, and its a big if, it would be another massive hurdle to get over either in the final .. I actually think that goes for Dublin too.. either of the 4 teams could win it .. could this be Mayo's year after all .. they remind me a wee bit of Kerry in 09..

Kerry in 09 had won 3 of the previous 5 All-Is. Mayo are most like Dublin in 95.

I think we're gonna take Dublin There's no need for that sort of talk It's a tough one to call. Neither have faced anything like what the other brings to the table so far, and both have match winning subs. But if Tyrone do win, I think they'll take Sam. Mickey Harte always seems to have his team prepared for finals, and any call he makes usually comes off for him. Now, I'm away to wash my filthy mouth out!

Mayo's "path" remind me a bit of how Kerry went in 09 .. i.e. the poor performances & near misses in the qualifiers followed up by a great semi & final ..... the question is, can Mayo continue to get better the way Kerry did in 09 .. debatable .. but if they do, it would surely be fairy-tale stuff for them.. Are them 2 aul "curse" lads still alive btw ?

I have cousins from Camlough .. we're giving eachother a bit of "space" at the minute lol To be honest Ard Mhacha, I never had an issue with Armagh ...now Derry, dont get me started .. and the trouble is the Ma and the Woman are both Derry Women .. how F**cked am I lol TBF, the Ma isnt too bad, she's more or less a Tyronie now but the Woman is a bloody nightmare ... lol Anyway, back to the match ... I realise it sounds almost silly saying I think we'll take them, as they're some bloody outfit, but I just think we're geared up exactly for them ... I'd still be very worried about a final "if" we do make it as thats another matter altogether .. one less planned for ... Anyway, Starting the Rosaries tonight so might ring Mickey and ask how many verses he wants lol

Dermot, you're like a child waiting for Christmas. 10 more sleeps for you. I think it will be a great game. Two teams playing well. I wonder if it developed into a shootout, it might just suit you. I don't think Dublin will let that happen. Mick y Harte has done a great job denveloping this team. They were an absolute joy to watch in the quarter final.

Ooo I dunno about the shootout ... but you never know I suppose. I think it will be a bit tighter from both teams with who defends the best and who gets their offloading game into action the best to decide who wins ... Saying that there could be a few telling kick passes too which could be the winning of the game.... Im covering all bases here lol BTW Playitfair, a Child waiting for Christmas is a good analogy ... dont know what to be at in the meantime ... I just hope Santa comes

Rivalry is fierce with your neighbour (Tyrone for me), and the slagging is intense when meeting. And while we've lost big games to Tyrone in the past, sure it hurts, but you have to take it on the chin. What's the alternative? Emigrate?

Im nearer Derry than Armagh so you're right in that, was I from the Moy it could be a different story .. same as Armagh folk from Newry who would usually be more Anti-Down than us :-) lol ... Its all good craic though.. Swings & roundabouts and Armagh will come again ... btw, emigration sounds a bit much but if ye ever feel ye really have to, so be it,,,,,,, just dont go to Derry lol

I have a felling Dublin may be consistently fouling us around their own 40-50 meter mark .. they will have seen Morgan, unbelievably in my view , coming out this year "again" to take those free's and know he'll probably miss them again which is a serious psychological blow as well as not helping the scoreboard... Its stops our running game and hits a mental cord .. not good .. just hope its reffed so that neither team can do that.. It would worry me though

So let me get this right we have a housing crisis and land which could be used for housing is going to be used for a GAA vanity project? By all means level the flats if they're not fit for purpose but could some decent low level housing not be built instead? Where are all the residents going to live if those buildings aren't being replaced?
What kind of a team will Dublin select now the O'Moore Park One is back?

Clare is a seriously good keeper and restarter of the game. A good few weeks back I raised the issue of Clarke's kickouts and a good few people didn't agree with me so kerrygold and anyone else who didn't agree what did you think of his kickouts the other day? Total disaster I would say.

While I agree we have a housing crisis in Dublin, which has a lot to do with vulture funds and greedy builders sitting on land and watching the price go up without being penalised as people desperately search for accomadtion they can afford. This is completly different . Flats in very bad condition are being knocked down and new houses built. Residents are very happy with the outcome . A bigger entrance to crokepark park will help traffic around the area also.
