Think it will be repeat of last years final...cant see brosna beating a full strength beale side and tarbert are flying, super fit and playing well in the county league.they scored 2-17 without sean mcginley and shane langan aginst desmonds...great scoring!!

flash Tarbert have around 10 forwards better than Langan i think. Also i think they play better without McGinley. Patsy Connell,John Kelliher and Kevin Wren are their scoring forwards. Brosna may not beat Beale but i dont think they will lose by more than 3pts.

Wudnt agree with dat now expert05...alright Shane langan has gone bak alot since doggd with injury but tink mcginley is an important part of the team especially if he can get fit...he scored 4pts against ballymac last wk..all b it 4rm frees bu dnt tink any1 else on d team wud ave been capable of pointing them...2 of them out side the 45!!was d difference between winnning and losing on d day!

Is there a date set for the semi finals? Weekend of May 13/14 looks open presuming that the Co Championships other than senior are on April 29/30.

What epidemic has hit Brosna? It sounds scarier than the bird flu!

Brosna had a b team more or less playing against beale saturday.5 definate starters injured plus tom mcgolderick was not next or near fully fit to play.

Dunno what the story is with Tarbert/B'duff game Joan. Mightnt be on for a while or at all! Fixture dates at a premium due to Co C/ship games, exams etc. We're playin Beale in junior c/ship in the next few weeks so the Focus is on that at the mo.

Brosna 2-5 Beale 1-12
Beale pulled away in this 1 in the last 5 minutes with a goal and a point.
The Listowel pitch is dangerous.A Brosna player went over on his ankle on it. its not good enough for a div 1 pitch.

i have not heard that the pitch is as bad as that, it seemed fine for any game i saw there. Though its a disgrace if its not up to scratch after all the money spent on it, isnt there two county championship games there at the weekend.

Ballyduff beat tarbert by point in moyvane last night.
Tarbert were missing roughly six players i was told but ballyduff only had six players from championship winning team on show which does not say much for tarbert,
Best for ballyduff were bobby sullivan who has to be best corner back in north kerry, Giles grady ran the show from centre back, david slattery at midfield went through trojan work, jp leahy at centre foward was his usual energetic self and hit some nice frees, tomas o rourke did well in full foward line hit some difficult frees.
as for tarbert darragh lanigan was good and shane enright in the backs. Midfield was non existent for them. their full foward and right corner foward whoever they were won everything that went into them but werent giving enough.
Ballyduff cant believe they won this id say. Turned up with a strong junior team and probably decided to have a cut and see what happens. Tarbert were the one team to put it up to them last year.
Well done to moyvane on fabulous facilities and well mantained pitch!!

Two of taberts forwards are state side and paddy O Connell broken collar bone. Well done to the lads that were there missing three of the best they at least gave it a shot.

Joan think about it
Tarbert were missing five..... Ballyduff only had five of their champ winning team.... A disastrous result for Tarbert they are going backwards

heard from a reliable source that it was a timid affair which had a draw written all over it. Shane Enright was very good for tarbert. The O Gradys and jp leahy were best for B'duff. Tarbert should be ok though joan and bannerman during the summer. Langan and Kelliher are no world beaters. Although obviously Tarberts panel will be stretched.

I some how doubt it expert as you said the panel is at bursting point. Langan and young kelliher are big losses to a team like tarbert that needs everyone they can get

agree that tarbert will be abit stretched which could affect their push for promotion in the county league which seems to be their main aim this year. Was at the game against ballyduff and thought Shane Enright stood out head and shoulders above the rest on both teams,a player with a bright future ahead of him.

Tarbert will do no better or no worse with Shane Langan and Kelleher back. Patsy will make massive difference alright. But they could end up falling short in the push for promotion which would be a shame as North Kerry needs teams competing in the higher divisions

was talkin to one of the tarbert lads bout ballyduff game and they were missin alot 2...i know ballyduff were missin 8 or 9 but tarbert were missinn ambrose lanigan and kieran deenihan along with the three mentioned above..hard for any team to be missin 6 or 7 seven players.heard lanigan is badly injured....is this rumour through...
