3rd in section a play 2nd in section b and 2nd in section a play 3rd in section b. these two games will be quarter finals so as to say. top two teams in each section go straight into semis
not sure will they have open draw for semis maybe then

Snoutman predicts Beale to top section A with Tarbert second and more than likely Listowel 3rd. Which is a travesty as Tarbert are over rated. Beale also to give Tarbert a lesson in the final group game. Players like Gary Dowling, Oige Horgan and James McMahon will have a field day. Section B is too tight to call but The Snoutman predicts Ballydonoghue to come true in the end.

Tarbert should walk this comp with a team backboned by the n.kerry minor champs and a strong u21 team.

expert stop being such a smart ass it does not suit you. just because tarbert dont have as good underage success as other teams surrounding them does not make them or even any other team that does not enjoy any success inferior to a team with loads of underage success
players move away, meet girls and drink etc etc all these can lead to a clubs downfall

They are no better or no worse than Listowel, Ballyduff, Finuge, Beale etc. I doubt Beale will be having a field day either. The real test will be when the teams meet in Co. Lge and Junior C/ship though. Until then, I'd keep my outlandish predictions to myself If I were you.

if Clounmacon still had mikey paul they'd beat Senans. Bally/Tarbert very close. But without Paddy/Mangan Tarbert are better unit. Big gap between 7/8! Brosna have dissapointed me. With forwards like Tom,flor, seamus, reidy and o donnell they should be much higher.

You'll never see them give the NK Lge much effort, and they float between Div 3 and 5 in the Co Lge. They have won more NK C/ships than anyone else though. They arent great at the moment I suppose though. Ballyduff would probably be the best team if they had everyone fully fit I reckon, but that probably will never happen. Ballydonoghue are the team with most young potential if they keep most of the young lads playing.

Its too early to be saying who will win. Teams have yet to reach their peak and once the weather clears up things will change

From Listowel Emmets website
TARBERT V EMMETS (DIV1 SENIOR NK LEAGUE RD6 SAT 12th March Tarbert had most of the possession early on in the game and converted a free in the opening minute in a game contested man for man evenly throughout and ended (0-11) a piece in the end. It took the Listowel side a little more time to impose themselves on the game. A converted free in the 9th minute by Brendan Kelly opened the scores for Listowel and was quickly followed up by points from Aongus Fitzgerald and Sean McCarthy off his left in the 10th and 11th minutes. The Emmets defence were clearing up everything that was coming their way and with a bit of wind advantage Kelly put another long distance 50yd kick between the posts in the 19th minute. A couple of minutes later Derek Galvin sold lots of dummies to his marker and took his kick not far from the end line that sailed between the posts to add the fifth for the visitors. Tarbert had only one score to their credit despite a very strong early presence up and down the field early on in the game. However, Tarbert added three unanswered points in the 24th, 27th, and 28th minutes before Listowel responded as Derek Galvin sold more dummies and made no doubt about the accuracy of his kick in the 30th minute. The scores at half time stood Tarbert (0-4) Listowel (0-6). Listowel earned a free within a minute of play resuming and Brenden Kelly slotted over the bar from 30yds but within five minutes Tarbert used the wind well and had levelled with their opponents. The game was in the melting pot and in the 11th minute of the second half Brian Scanlon put the visitors ahead again and a high ball from Sean O’Connell into the square in the 47th minute was punched over by Conor Moriarty and Listowel had a two point lead. Tarbert evened the sides (0-09) apiece with ten minutes remaining before adding another in the 24th that was cancelled by another score from Derek Galvin soon after. The game could have ended in the 56th minute when Brendan Kelly was let loose but was pushed on his way towards the Tarbert danger area. A free was awarded which he converted although he might have preferred the advantage to exploit a likely goal opportunity. Listowel held onto possession as much as they could pray for the final whistle. However, Tarbert threw everything at Listowel in the closing minutes and a great save by Declan McCarthy and another daisy cutter of a shot that went inches wide of the upright left the visitors barely in the game. Tarbert were awarded a free in the 59th minute that dropped to the goalkeeper and it looked like Tarbert had exhausted and utilised all their chances to salvage a draw. A minute into injury time however, the home side managed to drive the ball sailing over the cross bar and it was even Stevens after that in an even justified drawn match. Well done to both and to the referee Eddie Anthony Walsh. Listowel team and scores; Declan McCarthy, Fergus Reen, Pa Galvin, Adam Twomey, Sean O’Connell, Robbie Harrington, Ger McCarthy, Paudi Buckley, Brendan Kelly (0-03,2f), Aongus Fitzgerald (0-1), John James Buckley (0-1), Brian Scanlon (0-1), Conor Moriarty (0-1), Sean McCarthy (0-1), Derek Galvin (0-3). Subs, Billy Doyle(c), Declan Mawe, Darren Halpin, Conor O’Neill

Do emmets have a lot of injuries or is Christy trying to give everyone a run. You would think with a county league game approaching he should be playing his best team to get them together. Still it was hardly a B team that played tarbert with enough regulars. Hopefully emmets wont have anyone left for the real b team.

Listowel have plenty of players for their 3 teams.with all players available their B would take all n.kerry teams apart from 4/5 strongest and could easily compete in div3/4 county league. tommy nk there were only 4-5 of emmets best 15 in Tarbert last Sunday.

Fair enough it was an understrength team but there were more than 5 of the best there.I admit there is a strong panel there. But it is ridiculous to assume that an emmets B team would beat anyone but the top 5 in north kerry. Moyvane and Senans would beat them and they are far down in the rankings at the moment. And to infer that an emmets B team could play division 3 in the county league in rubbish. No listowel team won anything in nk champ last year at senior, intermediate or junior and ifs and buts mean nothing its the teams that take the field that count.

Brosna have beaten Listowel, Senans and Moyvan but lost to Beale and Tarbert.....can someone please tell me whether or not they beat Duagh earlier in the year or was it a draw or what? ? If Brosna beat Duagh (knowing the other 5 results, then emmets are out!) By the way, anyone accepting spreads on when the NK league will be finished!! Brosna have 5 points as well as they drew with Moyvane, they have yet to play Duagh. That game is on March 26.
Expert05 the Tarbert team was probably the sames as in the earlier rounds which can be found on their website.

listowel b would do well in div3 and beat most north kerry teams?ud want ur head examined, the facts are the current listowel team will struggle when they loose the likes of buckley, jerome stack, steven stack, gary stack, mickey kennelly, derek galvin!!most if not all these players will be gone in 3 years and who have they to replace them!!the likes of ger mccarty and adam twomey are already on the senior team so apart from sean mccarty and maybe charlie brown i cant see anyone else!!!if u cant honestly name out fifteen players who are currently playn football and who wudnt be on the listowel first fifteen that wud beat the likes of brosna,ballydonoghue,moyvane,duagh,glenbeigh/glencar,na gaeil, tousist, keel, ballyduff ill quit playn football!!!
