Why do we bother with away jerseys when we don't use them for colour clashes like this

Very disappointed Gannon wasn’t given a chance to start. I think his speed would bring an intensity and spark they so desperately need 👍

Dreadful first half compounded by some terrible refereeing- Limerick fell apart in the 2nd half, dismissals put paid to their chances. Kerry unimpressive, looked worse than they did vs Cork!

The jersey clash probably didn't help with quick ball as the lads probably had to take an extra second to make sure they picking out their own man.

Ref was terrible, gave a card for every second foul. Both red cards for Limerick were a joke, completely unnecessary.
Difficult to read too much into it from a Kerry perspective. First 20 minutes were dreadful, improved after that. The 6 backs all played well. Need more from the forwards bar Lane.

What's with this team and not playing for the first quarter? Twelve minutes before they scored against Cork, tonight it was the nineteenth minute before they opened their account. Won't get away with that too often.
Not wanting to be hard on young lads but Limerick were desperately poor in all aspects of the game. Actually, the standard in general seems to be really bad this year, at least in Munster anyway. Hard to know where Kerry are really at but I'd still fancy them to beat Cork in Tralee the next night.
Bizarre sort of a game. One point to nil for Limerick after 18 minutes, it had degenerated into a back-and-forwards knockabout long before the finish. Referee amused himself trying to see how many cards he could hand out.

Well done to the Kerry minor team and management on the win v Limerick. If there ever was a compelling argument to restore the minor grade age to 18 or possibly colleges age grade of 19 this was it .Croke park have meandered around this issue for far too long .

I wonder is there any point holding the county championship going by the North Kerry representation on the county panel Very strong The amalgamation should have happened years ago

I don't follow you riddler if they are that strong should they not have 2 teams in the championship?

I wonder is there any point holding the county championship going by the North Kerry representation on the county panel It's not even just the county players, there are several players that were in or around the dev squads up throughout the ranks, Sheridan, Kelly and Hefferan from Duagh, Egan, Wrenn, Stack, Finucane and Moriarty from Tarbert, Mulvihill, Brosnan and Donoghue from Moyvane. Rochford from Duagh, There are a few more like Carroll from Senan's in with the training panel. Even though they won the final last year, I think they are stronger and more cohesive this year. Two years ago this team at U15's didn't perform against Mid Kerry in the county semi final in their first year as a unit. It's just a pity last year's backroom team were moved one pace to the left.

Sem won the Corn ui Mhuiri with a fairly young team. Mounthawk were one of their biggest threats, again plenty of young players. Tralee CBS won the Frewen and lost to the Sem in the Dunloe. St. Pats Castleisland won the Dr. Eamonn OSullivan, they were phenomenal. Stacks gave North Kerry a fierce battle in the minor championship, lost by a point in extra time. Kenmare had a great minor team. Rathmore had some great players but I'm not sure of their ages. Mid Kerry have been consistently good up along the age grades. I'm told St. Brendan's have a lot of talent coming through (haven't seen them myself). South Kerry and West Kerry might not be great (that could come back to bite me on the arse later on!) I think we are going to have a brilliant minor championship, I really do.

I wonder was Wayne and management intentionally holding Oisin Healy as a surprise card for the final?? Very strange he has seen such little game time thus far

Very strange he has seen such little game time thus far If Healy is going well in training, he definitely deserves his place. The team is looking more settled now, but our 3 and 6 wouldn’t fill me with confidence. Don't get me wrong, i think that they're very good players, but not in those positions.

Healy is a serious player, when tuned in, anyone that was in ASP last year that witnessed the two dead balls to equalize will vouch for that. I am also inclined to agree, with regard to 3 and 6, I actually think Mulvihill and Brosnan are more central players, and may be better suited at 3 and 6 respectively.

Really good win, stuck in there and had a bit of luck. Ref was excellent, allowed a tackle which most refs dont seem to anymore.

Immense performance from Ben Murphy. Wore number 3 but popped up all over the pitch including creating both goals.

What an enjoyable game of football.
That was a very good Cork performance and if 1 of their goal chances went in it might have been different.
Kerry where excellent though and deserved it tonight.
How the Cork number 9 didn't get a black card I'll never know, It was as blatant you'll see.
Hopefully the start of a good weekend
