What allocation did the Dubs get? When you factor in everything, they will probably get twice our allocation.

Both participating Senior counties get the same allocation, regardless of population or number of clubs. That's usually about 11K each. We got 2K or 3K more last year and this year because of the Minors.

HI many clubs are there in Dublin I wonder? I was told that St. Brigids club in Blanchardstown got 700 tickets. But I imagine their membership is in the thousands.

Does anyone know if it true that Kerry GAA are holding a golf fundraiser this Friday in Dublin? I heard that it cost €1000 for a team but it includes up to 4 All Ireland tickets for each team member. Can't see too many genuine supporters being able to afford that!

Mate of mine won the Tralee Parnells draw tonight, two premium tickets. For those prone to sharp bursts of anger, look away now. He's bringing his missus, an Offaly woman who's never been to Croke Park in her life. And guess who got him to buy a ticket and is dropping the tickets up to him on Sunday? Me, the fecking eejit.
It's all right though, he assured me he'll buy me a pint.

No , Dublin have more clubs and population so will get more. Add in the sponsors, premium and boxes being largely owned by dubs plus lots of other things such as croke park residents, they will have 1000s more than us

I know 2 American RCSI students who have tickets and are excited about going to watch it with their only problem being that they dont know who to support. How they ended up with tickets- I'll never know

tickets given out to the clubs are absolute crap........county board has made it clear that the yanks who paid $1000 to go to a dinner with the legends are more important than the club volunteers who put in hundreds of hours a year to keep the gaa in the county going....so next sunday while the yank arrives at 3.20 into his good seat in the centre of the hogan lowe, men who trained many of the minors will be in their seats in the clouds at 1pm trying to roar on the player from a few hundred metres away............

I prefer upper tier seats. Can see the tactical game plan unfold.

While I agree with you this does raise a question- what would you assume the average match going demographic to be? I know all kinds of ages go,etc but I would imagine the demographic with the highest attendance would be the 25-40 range. What would be the ratio of Kerry fans (in that demographic) that live outside the county relative to those within the county? There are a lot of Kerry people in that demographic who live in Dublin (and its surrounds), a lot, and match going can be difficult for them- especially for some dead-rubber Munster matches. This is not a woe is me moment- just think the issue doesnt get raised at all.

I think the age profile of supporters is well spread. As regards where people live, there is a large support that support Kerry that live outside the county. Regardless of where Kerry are playing, my sense is that there is a core support of around 5,000 attending those championship matches of which I would guess 50% of those live outside Kerry

Looking for a swap from a seat ticket to hill 16.
I have an upper cusack ticket (€80), I'd love to swapped it for two Hill as I can bring the aul lad to the game. I'd even pay the face value for the 2nd Hill ticket. He's going since he's 15 and he's never been to a final.
Please contact if anyone is looking for a seating ticket.
And I look forward to the usual craic and sing song we get with the Kerry; despite who wins on Sunday. Maith thú

In all fairness I doubt there were that many given to the 'yanks'.. How many would you think were given to the yanks by the co. board? 100? 200? Compare that to how many are given to co. committee members, sponsors etc.. You're giving a couple hundred tickets to the people who raised $1M for you so you build a decent training facility - I'd say it is not the worst deal in the world.. I'd be far more concerned at the number of tickets given to people for sitting on committees etc.. I wonder how many tickets each committee member gets? I am not saying they don't deserve a few tickets, but I heard of a case during the week where someone sitting on a sub committee was entitled to 6 or 7 tickets for just being on the committee.. I am sure there are lots of instances like this. I think if you had a break down of tickets like Donegal did last year it would be startling how many tickets don't go to clubs. I'd be surprised if that many went abroad, and like I said above, even if 100 did or 200 did (and I seriously doubt it is any more than that).. I'd think that is a small price to pay for the return (close to 2M over two years!)

No ticket yet but God is good and the week isn't over yet.
I'm just wondering where all the "competition" tickets come from, not GAA clubs in other counties raffling them but the competitions you see on social media. Is it sponsorship or what?
For example a bus company is giving away tickets on Radio Kerry all week, the Kerry's Eye tickets etc? What allocation do these come from?
