Said I'd start this early.
Any one looking for tickets or swaps or posting competition for tickets please use this thread so it's kept in the one place.
And of course if anyone has a ticket they'd like to give me I'd gladly take it!

I have two corporate box tickets for the hurling final. They are being auctioned for a charity event I am involved with in aid of St Francis Hospice in Dublin. If anyone is interested then PM me with your bid. Bids already received of €300 as of today.

I'm isolated in Donegal so I normally find it difficult and with the two possible opponents it is worst of all; Mayo will suck up all North West availability while the Dubs hover up everything anyway as they have a big population. I suppose the only consolation is that we have two of the four possible teams.
I'd be delighted if there was a spare stand ticket as the eye sight is only average at distance, and as the gypsy says, I'll say a prayer for you, and of course pay you too!

I'd be very grateful if anyone would be able to spare 2 tickets for me. Of course, I would prefer for anyone who has ben to more matches than me to get them first, but if there was any available after that, they would be very much appreciated. Thank you

Have Season ticket but my son has two friends from University in Scotland over that weekend who have been converted to Kerry Football. Any remote possibility of a ticket or two for them would be appreciated.

I'm looking for 4 tickets but they have to be together and they have to be in either Sections 333-335 of the Hogan or Sections 304-306 in the Cusack otherwise ye can stick them where the sun don't shine.

Any ticket is a bonus, happy hunting.

How can people be so bad as to beg strangers for tickets they don't deserve? Tickets for specific sections, tickets for some Scots who've never gone to a match before, a ticket for my dog who barks when Kerry get a point and howls when they score a goal! How low can you go! True fans who have a season ticket will get their seat. Good club men and women who go regularly to games will get sorted through their clubs hopefully too. And the rest of us, and I include myself, will hope something turns up and if it doesn't, it doesn't, rather than taking advantage of some sympathetic poster on this forum.

To be honest I have no problem whatsoever helping someone out, my ticket supply ended when I lost my Dad but I'm in the happy position of being a Croke Park steward so will see the match anyhow. I have promised my cousin in Kerry that if I manage to get my hands on a ticket I will give it to him. I have been on the receiving end of offers from good people on this forum in the past and would return the favour if I could. The Scottish students wouldn't have a hope in my book though.

It has been well documented how I was not born in Ireland, and I have lived in many different countries around the world, which means I get ticket requests from all over the world. A few years ago my brother, who follows Dublin and Celtic, begged me for tickets, but I told him that my spare ticket would go to a fan that had been to all games that year and he rarely, if ever, goes to any games. He decided not totally to me for a year, because I have the ticket to the husband of a friend of mine who is passionate about Dublin football, but as a musician can't always attend games. I have had other instances where I could get a free ticket for Dublin games via the season ticket scheme and gave it to him. Maybe some day he will return the favour. A friend of mine in the states is passionate about hurling and Cork in particular. Obviously never made it to a Cork game until he came here on a holiday. Managed to snap tickets for him for a Cork championship game so was able to make his day. If I can I will always get the ticket to a real supporter, who will really appreciate it. I have had times with the season ticket scheme that I wasn't able to go, but another, real, supporter was looking for a ticket. I'd rather give it for free to that person than make money and get someone in who doesn't really appreciate it.

Personally I have been at all matches this year going right back to the Mcgrath cup game against the IT in the winter cold and wet. It always happens the genuine supporter will be left out because of people like this.
