Jeez you lads can get awful b1tchy with each other .. and to think I thought it was just me lol It is scientifically proven that when a Tyrone person does something it is 4 times worse than when someone from a different county (including Kerry) does the exact same thing.

Left Half Forward is Brian Dooher
Today FM:
The choice of our judging panel for Left Half Forward on the 15 for 15 selection is: Tyrone’s Brian Dooher.
Who can forget the moment in the 2008 All Ireland final when Brian Dooher took the ball in his own half and burst down the touchline, shaking off two Kerry defenders before scoring a point from a tight angle all within one movement. Later that day he would hoist the Sam Maguire Cup for the second time as Tyrone captain.
On every team there needs to be a fighter, a player with guts, industry and the will to win. Brian Dooher was relentless in covering every blade of grass on a Gaelic Football pitch. And he knew how to tackle and kick points.
The Clann na nGael clubman picked up 3 All Stars in addition to his 3 Celtic Crosses in a senior inter county career which spanned 16 years. Brian Dooher was a key man in the evolution of Tyrone into winners.

Can't see anyone other than Gooch for 13 and then there is massive competition for the last two spots. I think they'll pick Peter Canavan but no idea who else they'll throw in.

I'll be disgusted if Padraig Joyce doesn't make it in there.

10 out of 12 for me so far. McGeaney and Higgins weren't my picks.
I went for Gooch, O'Neill & Canavan in FF line. Joyce unlucky unlucky if he doesn't make it but you could say the same about another half dozen.

I had Gooch, Joyce & Canavan in the FF line. Gooch is a certainty. FF is between Joyce & Murphy and No. 15 is between Canavan and B. Brogan IMHO.

Flynn lucky to get in ahead of Galvin even though he has been excellent the last few years, again the bodies of work don't stack up. I'd have Joyce and Cooper in the full forward line, although I probably left Joyce out of my team earlier!!!!

10 of 12 for me too so far, full-forward line of Cooper, O'Neill and Canavan left. While I agree with you that all the above players are excellent- if Brogan doesnt get one then I will allow you to arrive at my house with a selection of hats for me to eat.

Canavan will be in so it's between Brogan, O'Neill, Joyce and McDonnell for 14.

Canavan will be in so it's between Brogan, O'Neill, Joyce and McDonnell for 14. And Murphy. Hair splitting really between the remaining players. Canavan is a cert to join the gooch in my opinion. It will be interesting to see if PC goes along the party lines and picks Brogan. That would mean no player from All-Ireland winning champions Galway and Donegal. I think Murphy will get it. Galvin's histrionics in 2008 probably cost him a place at number 10, the 1000th Allstar. The selection of Higgins is interesting, obviously selected before Paddy Andrews came to town. I couldn't see either Tom Sullivan or Mick McCarthy conceding that level of collateral to Andrews in a big Croker game, either of whom's body of work merited selection. Certainly on the basis that Marc seems to have been an automatic selection at 2.

Lacey and Tom Sullivan ought to have been miles ahead of Higgins.

Lacey and Tom Sullivan ought to have been miles ahead of Higgins. You may well be right but there is always going to be something of rewarding a team more so than an individual to these selections- Mayo have been there or there abouts for long enough (since 2004) and he is the main media darling of that team.

Some collision for the number 15 now! Yeah, I'd imagine they'd pick Canavan. But I wouldn't have guessed Joyce at 14 although I agree with the call.

Some collision for the number 15 now! Jack O'Connor, Barry Cahill and John O'Mahoney picked the team Jack did well with his 6 Kerryman O'Mahoney got Joyce in The 2 boys will play ball and give Cahill the shout for Bernard Brogan at 15. No members of the Tyrone fan club picking the team to push for Peter the Great.

Hard to see Canavan getting in, he had good years in 02,03 and 05 but retired after that. Brogan and even Murphy have more work done in the last 15 years
