I have a feeling that Seanie won't be playing that close to goals v Dublin.

The main thing is the new players make an impression cillian burke is definitely a great prospect is still raw of course first season so is joe o Connor and Dylan Casey and Dylan Geaney more or less rookies. People don’t realize Joe started one league and championship game before this year and Casey also is around but hasn’t start played that much. It would be great if one of the Geaneys made it also so that would be a good learning experience for them for the championship. I’m glad Jack is trying them out hope it’s not of necessity because of last year as we ran out of steam in the final. As for the way we play yes it’s a problem as Kerry always played their own game and dictated how the opposition played. We are better at football than any county always but we are missing something mentally that is a problem.

New seating installed in Cusack Stand. Light blue and dark blue. Sort of sends a message Jesus, how is this even allowed, sure why not stagger altogether to spell "up the Dubs", Was it Donegal that had the motion to have them nominate Parnell Park as their home venue, I was actually surprised this motion didn't get more traction and support

What pub are Kerry fans gathering in pre match ? I know brannigans on oconnell st is owned by a Kerryman so I’d imagine a few would pop in there. Came up yesterday and visited the Wetherspoons pub on Abbey St. pints as cheap as €3.95!

Few tiers of upper cusack opened tonight, shows a big crowd is expected I'd imagine. Last time we played Dublin there in the league was a crowd of over 40k. With Limerick supporters here today as well could be looking at a similar crowd or more.

Briodys Malbourgh Street ( just off OConnell Street ) is a great pub.. lovely pint. Dublin will be busy today.

Mulligans, Sean O'Caseys or whatever it's called now - that's where I'd usually be floating before/after a game

Not a whole pile of worthy analysis anywhere, still good to know about hospitality and a good pint, things that can ruin a game even before it starts!
Still it will be interesting to see if Philly Mac in The Indo is right about the Ard Mhachas and my beloved Dún na nGallers. My grasses up there believe Jim 2.0 is going well and he has new ideas the boys have bought into. In the spirit of GAA that Lacey saga was appalling, it is a big decision for teens up there to choose between 'the Gaelic' and what we call soccer but they call football. Karl would tip the balance for a few extra each year and no denying the quality - combined with what they have already they'd be the makings of a decent extended panel in no time and so add to the Ulster fare.
What could Dessie be worried about with this crack with the late release of team sheet? Surely he isn't still after me like his Ma and Da were of a liquid evening up North - something I said, agreeing with O'Rourke re the GPA. Makes me feel so important .. makes me wanna to puke more like it ...

For what it's worth, Dublins announced team for tonight. Would expect 3 or 4 changes to the side and probably a few unexpected returns. Usually a reason why a team waits so late to announce team and doesn't announce the substitutes. Dublin are known for it at this stage

Dublin are known for it at this stage Kerry under Peter Keane tried that a few years ago of not naming subs and was pilloried for it. Rightly so. Managers thinking the world is out to get them and naming whatever sort of a bench is going to make a difference to the outcome. It boggles the mind that teams are not forced to release their teams 24 hours before every game at least. Bull* excuses of injuries happening in the meantime don’t float for international rugby so I can’t see why we allow it

A county like Dublin doesn't need to be at that messing.

This is deplorable, but oh so predictable. Absolutely no strategy other than “get into David”….. again. Ripped apart at the back by a better coached outfit with more options.

Foley getting destroyed by Con, Joe getting destroyed by Fenton and not sure whoever is on Dublins 10 but he's getting the run of the pitch without anyone laying a hand. Kerry don't seem interested. If I'd known Kerry wouldn't give a s**t I would have saved my money and stayed at home.

Something seriously wrong. Coaching for us is abysmal. This could be a 20 pt hammering unless we get our act together. Not 1 Kerry player has the beating of his marker. Maybe the second half will change my opinion. Defence is at 6/7s. And up front is worse. No interlink play from the back.

Diabolical stuff altogether. We look totally disjointed and we look lethargic at times and should be a lot more only for Shane Ryans save...Graham and Cillian only ones for me to come out of that half with any credit. For the love of God surely can't get any worse!

Kerry didn't even contest the thrown in and this set the tone for the entire first half. This has been no contest, and probably one of the most inept performances ever given by a Kerry team against Dublin in one half of football. I didn't expect Kerry to win tonight but I was hoping for a good performance. We should be further behind, and things could get a whole lot worse but here's hoping for some semblance of pride in the second half. Kerry are out sized in many areas and the athleticism and footballing skill and intelligence of the Dubs was far superior in that first half. Many of the Kerry players are in their prime with years of experience so they shouldn't be getting humiliated like this. Cillian Burke has been a bright light. Here's hoping for a better second half!

Kerry showed some pride in that second half or Dublin eased off? A bit of both but Dublin controlled this game on their terms for the most part like last July, except far worse on the scoreboard tonight. The Dubs anticipation and reading of play and their game management is second to none. When one considers they had no Costello, Paul Mannion, or Jack Mc to name but some! Fair play to them, they are the best and setting the standards, and it's a tough road back for Kerry.

Dublin missing 7 starters from last years all Ireland and will likely have them back in July. We are close to full strength. Worrying.
Probably the 2 Clifford’s worst Kerry match. No harm in that, only getting back after long lay off, adrenaline took them through the mayo game.
Morley at CB worrying, dublin cut down the middle numerous times. This Morley sweeping thing won’t work anymore. Morley legs look cooked. New 6 needed it seems.
Management look baffled on sideline, things look stale.
Dylan casey, some laud him here, decent club player whose status was elevated during Austin stacks ultra defensive 2021 campaign. Seems to nice of a lad too, not up to the level unfortunately. Begley needs coming back asap.
Paul Murphy needs to start, yet still relying on him 10 years later. Not good.
Paul geaney and Stephen o brien at 33 are 2 players we need back to start this team. Again not a good sign.
Cillian Burke only new player that’s up to the level.
With all the coaching and systems and tactics we hear about, why can’t we come up with a system that gets the best out of David Clifford instead of hoping he does something out of this world?
Worrying. Looks like come July we will need start the same team except Burke in for Moynihan at wing forward.

One of the worst Kerry displays I've seen. So much wrong and very little done to change it.
JOC days at this level are over. While I hope to be proved wrong in the championship I just don't see it.
While Paul Murphy has been one of Kerry's most consistent over the years him being the first sub on made no sense. Outside David Clifford what are the tactics? On Clifford another game where he just taking on crazy efforts time and time again.
On another note when was the last time a Keel man played at this level?
