Very interested in seeing who will be the new Austin stacks manager I imagine the result next weekend will have a big factor on the criteria of manager they attract

lot of rumblings of Stephen Stack returning to Stacks, heard Eamon Fitzmaurice is highly linked to the Narries job as is Stephen Wallace.

Surely Donaghy is in the mix for this I know one can't draw a line between inter county and managing, but i'm still surprised Pa Laide never ventured the other side of the white lines.

Stacks job between Peter Keane and Billy Lee be very interesting if Peter is to receive the job I’d like to see Peter go in there. Stacks have a lot of very good young players with high potential and have more coming through from minor most years so it’d be good to see someone like Peter go in there and play good, attacking football and give their talented young players a chance to develop.

Couldn't agree more, however, I would require a complete recalibration of their set up or play from U15-Senior.
The underage structure to Senior is set up identically to ensure smooth transition to Senior for players.
Stacks would be a serious outfit with Keane at the wheel

PK potentially rocking up (couldn't resist it) for Stacks is a fascinating spectacle.
As an aside how long has Fitzy been managing Fossa that completely escaped my notice! There's no real obvious connection to the club for a fella from Finuge, living in Tralee and working out in Dingle! Is it just the allure of being able to coach DC and Paidi??

Word is that stacks have already secured their new manager.

My impression is that EF is backroom rather than manager.

You'd almost forgot about Pa Laide. He was finished with Kerry quite young I think. But was a very underrated player.

Stacks have 3 or 4 good minors every year coming through and are always strong at U15 level so you would expect them with the right manager to be in the mix every year
They could potentially dominate Kerry football with the right man in charge

A significant number of lads who played Kerry Minor over the past 6-8 years do not appear to be making progress in the senior ranks. Probably a myriad of reasons but for their underage talent going astray but they should be far stronger even now given the talent they have nurtured in their juvenile section.

An injury plagued Stacks beat Kor the Munster Club Champions this year in the Kerry Club Championship , not a big stretch to imagine Stacks having a golden era over next 10 years with the right man management and dedication to the Club by this crop of players.

Mike tim O Sullivan - Currow Denis Moynihan - Rathmore I remember Mike Tim O Sullivan being a bright prospect at one point. I think he played soccer for Ireland as well. Must still only be in his early 30s

Is this hassett second go with laune rangers? Was he the manager when Kieran stack was trainer? Strange that Denis Reen going from a strong intermediate contender like glenflesk to a team that has no hope winning premier junior
