Is this hassett second go with laune rangers? Was he the manager when Kieran stack was trainer? Strange that Denis Reen going from a strong intermediate contender like glenflesk to a team that has no hope winning premier junior Yea, it’s Hassett’s 2nd attempt & Kieran Stack was his trainer - don’t think they had much success but maybe there is a stronger team there now. |

Eanna Malley staying with Beaufort for another year must be one of the longest managers on the go with the same club at the moment
Mark Bourke has taken over Milltown/Castlemaine be interesting to see how that one works out

The battle to get out of Intermediate is going to be fascinating - PK's appointment is a real statement of intent from Legion but with Stacks also aiming to bounce back to senior it will mean a very tasty competition. Only one of the 16 Intermediate sides can go up (unless the number of senior clubs changes). The senior club competition is already a cut throat affair with one of eight going down.
The Club competitions are nearly more appealing than the traditional main county championship with the dominance of EK - I know EK loses Rathmore but I would still expect them to be favourites to retain their crown.

Gneeveguilla have appointed a manager from their neighbours across the border in Knocknagree named John Horgan, he was involved with the knocknagree team that have progressed through Cork nicely last few year. Apparently they struggled to find someone to take the job. Surprising really you would think they would be quite an attractive club for managers.
