Fantastic achievement for Offaly, with only a fraction of the players of Cork or Dublin. Michael Duignan seems to be making a difference at County Board level and obviously they have a good long term plans in place.

Offaly deserved All Ireland U20 Champions, beating Roscommon 1-14 to 1-11. Great crowd present at the game also. Offaly coming good just as Kerry have a good senior team, history going to repeat itself yet again? Anyway congratulations to Offaly, they played some great football.

That was a football match in Croke Park today. Offaly gave a memorable display and they had to in order to overcome a gallant Roscommon team. Games like these restore the faith. In Offaly , obviously they decided that it was vital to develop the youth level and forget the moaning about perceived advantages so called stronger counties may have . Other counties please copy. Bravo Offaly.
