Games pencilled in for the last weekend of July - trying to recollect what is planned. No info on county website.
What is situation about venues for these games - neutral/home/away etc.
What is the expectation about attending such games - numbers etc.
Think the games are planned for three consequtive weekends, it it 1 or two from each group that goes forward to knockout stage (normally 1 I think).

What is situation about venues for these games - neutral/home/away etc. What is the expectation about attending such games - numbers etc. Think the games are planned for three consequtive weekends, it it 1 or two from each group that goes forward to knockout stage (normally 1 I think). This was sent out last week about the senior club championship: 8 teams – 2 Groups of four with top team in each Group playing in the final. Relegation as per previous years. Date for Final may be brought forward by the CCC. Draws for the Group stages already made. Venues for Group stages as per previous years i.e. one home, one away & one neutral. Except where the CCC agrees to make an exception, a club that refuses to host a neutral club championship game will automatically lose their home game. For all games in the Senior Club Championship, the CCC may and without the agreement of either team involved, change venue at short notice and play midweek games regardless of any ‘entitlements’ to home venue or weekend games. Dates for group games are July 25/26, August 1/2, August 8/9 (for all club championships). Quarter finals for Intermediate and the 2 Juniors September 5/6 and relegation play0off for senior. Senior Football championships (knock-out) - first two rounds to be played August 22 and August 29. About the attendances, max of 200 allowed to attend games. Up to the home club to ensure this.

200 people allowed attend including players, management and officials. Not looking like anyone will get inside the gate. Does anyone else have a distinct pass? I have tried contacting the county board with regards to getting a refund but getting no reply.

Hopefully there is an outbreak of common sense before the games next weekend - a limit of 200 people including teams, mentors, media and officials is bolgerdash.
The perimerter of a GAA pitch is approximately 450 mt and the depth of the stands/terraces in Fitzgerald Stadium ranges from 15-30 mt
I estimate the stand and terraces are about 10,000 sq mt - with 200 people in the grounds they have about 50 sq mt per person. Current capacity of Fitzgerald Stadium is 38,000 giving 0.26 sq mt per person in normal times. At 4 sq mt per person we could get 2500 into Fitzgerald and based on the ratio of 2500:38,000 I would suggest capacity should be about 5% of the normal approved capacity for all grounds.
The sooner the zoo keepers in charge of things realise one size does not fit all and give more sensible advice the better for us all - it will increase buy in by us normal folk I would argue.

Crokes and O’Rahillys Dingle and Stacks although Legion won’t make it easy for either of them Crokes will be bringing in some youth this year especially in the back line Might be a bit of a transition year but they’ll still have a dangerous forward line . Any of those teams could win it

It should be a great weekend of football across all levels. Many teams will unlikely to have such a pool of players at their disposal at this time of the year ever again.
I'll go for Crokes, Rahillys, Dingle and Legion this weekend.

Well i paid my fiver and bang on 3pm the coverage started.
SOS opening with a good point off the left and Jack Savage levelled with a great effort a few minutes later.
After 5 minutes Paul oConnor slipped his marker and buried a great goal.
Jack then kicked two points for KOR, the second one a fine effort.
12 mins gone and its 1.01 to 3 points.
Then wing back Danny oSullivan darts forward and belts over a huge point to level the game.
On 16 minutes Paul oConnor picks out SOB with a great kick pass and SOB shows good composure to slip the ball under the keeper and Kenmare are a goal up.
KOR get a point back from Tom Hoare.
Good open free flowing game.
Kenmare unlucky not to get another goal from Dan McCarthy..cleared off the line.
Another perfect foot pass from Paul oConnor brings a mark and SOS points the mark.
2.02 to 6 points now after KOR kick a free on 25 mins.
Tommy Walsh gone off injured and is replaced by Gearoid Savage.
Another great goal chance created by Kenmare but Tommy oSullvan cant convert.
On 31 mins Jack expertly slots a 45 for KOR.
On 32 mins Jack slots another great free this one from 50 metres.
Half time 2.02 to 8 points.
Paul oConnors ability to create goal chances and Jack Savages points are the standout features so far.

Just like he did in the first half SOS scores a great point after a great move.
Jack levels it from a free grom 35 yards
SOS kicks a free from 35 yards.
Jack levels it with a tap over free
10 points to 2.04 on 38 mins
Ross oCallagan wearing 3 but operating out the field impresses for KOR.
Jack points an easy free and KOR are a point up.
SOS kicks a monster free to level it.
SOB gone off injured for Kenmare.
BJK kicks a good point to put KOR ahead
Dan McCarthy misses a good chance to level it
KOR go 2 up from an easy free from Jack.
KOR pn top in the middle in the secind half
SOS kicks a great point after Kenmare nearly manufacture another goal.
53 mins gone. KOR a pint up.
David Moran drives forward and is fouled on 40 yards. Jack misses it.
58 mins gone KOR a point up still.
Kenmare win a kickout and feed it to SOS whose shot is defkected for a 45. Sean misses it.
SOS mispossess his man and under pdrssure kicks a brilliant equsliser.
Moran fetches the kickout and put KOR on the attack. KOR looked like he was fouled but no free given.
Kenmare on the attack now and SOS breaks free and kicks another great point.
Dan McCarthy adds another and Kenmare are 2 up.
66 minutes gone and Kenmare are playing keep ball.
All over. SOS turned it Kenmares way in the last 5 minutes.
Great value for a fiver!

Atrocious finish from KOR- well on top for the nearly the whole match book ended by some tragic defending at the start & finish.
They were a point up in injury time and they are going short with kickouts to isolated men- baffling stuff.
Fairplay to kenmare who took their chance when given to them and had a game plan that worked for them.
I’d like to have seen the persistent fouling of David Moran punished more harshly.
Jack Savage the stand out for KOR & they’d have been lost without him while Sean o Shea finished strongly for Kenmare & Paul o Connor reminded us all how much of a class act he is.
Neither team will trouble Crokes on today’s display

Fairly sure Ross did but he must be hitting 30ish now, maybe 29.
Mush is injured and I wouldn’t think you’ll see him against Crokes either to be honest

In the circumstances where players probably are not as prepared as they would otherwise be i thought it was a great contest.
Kenmares ability to create goals chances was inpressive. KOR never looked like creating one.
With 10 to go KOR had a stranglehold and i couldnt see them losing.
A big decision by the ref not to give KOR a scorable free in with the teams level at the end was a momentum shifter. When the play went to the other end SOS put Kenmare in front.
Kenmare started better in each half, had the better spread of scorers, and got their noses in front when it mattered. So i think Kenmare deserved to win.
I hope Kenmare v Templenoe is live streamed next weekend

Did a anyone else have a difficulty with steaming? I set the Templenoe/Crokes game up for my father and left him at it (he would have technical difficulties setting it up himself... 😂). His stream played for 2mins,poor quality and then the buffering circle came on and then it cut out completely.
His broadband speed is decent enough and he didn't press any buttons.
Did anyone else have this issue?
TIA

Did anyone else have this issue? TIA I’ve very good fibre broadband & it paused a few times for no apparent reason. It was only a matter of pressing play & I was up & running again. It was handy to be able to cast it to the tv so everyone could watch it in peace without gathering around the laptop, chrome cast is the way to go if you haven’t done so already or if your tv doesn’t have it already built in. It was great value for €5, at times the cupla focal in the commentary was like listening to Micheal Ni Mhuircheirtheigh’s 50th cousin in the bronx on Paddy’s day.

And commentary was not good Commentary was amateurish - sounded like one man on his own and he had difficulty keeping tabs on what was happening. Tommy Walsh was gone to the sideline three minutes before commentator noticed. Stephen O Brien was down with his injury in the first half before being replaced in the second and not spotted. Social distancing meant the commentator was flying solo probably. Overall it was an acceptable standard and great to have it. Any likelyhood of the 200 cap on attendance being raised for R2?
