Most of the regulars seem to be there, although some key men like David Moran, Con Barrett and Jack Savage not listed.
Fair play to Kilcummin for making a proper game of it.

Austin Stacks 4-15 St. Mary's 1-6 in both teams Rd 11 fixture today.
This result puts the Tralee club in second place on 16 points and eliminates Killarney Legion from contesting the final (between the top 2 teams). Dr. Crokes and Dingle are both on 14 points and play each other in Rd 11. A win for either team will pit them against Austin Stacks in a play-off to contest the final versus Rathmore. A draw between Dr. Crokes and Dingle sets up a final between Rathmore and Austin Stacks.
Munster Club football for either Austin Stacks or Dr. Crokes means a finish to the competition is still a ways into the future.

That's some hammering. What kind of team did the Mary's have out? I assume Sheehan and a few more were missing. I guess stacks have to be in full flow and be ready for a possible Munster run

Austin Stacks 4-15 St. Mary's 1-6 in both teams Rd 11 fixture today. . County league should be done and dusted by end of August early sept at latest. Play it all off without County players. Sept/Oct should be for local championships and County Championship, that’s it.

It has been known for a county league game early in one season to double up as the previous year's final.

Dr. Crokes v Dingle will be on 24 Nov at 2pm in Lewis Road. Winner in play-off v Austin Stacks to get to the final v Rathmore. A draw finishes the season in the county league for both teams, leaving the final Rathmore v Austin Stacks.
Dr. Crokes are in the quarter final of the East Kerry championship and Dingle are in the final of the West Kerry championship (Dingle play the winner of the 17 Nov clash between Annascaul and An Ghaeltacht).
Plenty of football left in the year.

Plenty of football left in the year. And yet most clubs played little or no football during the months of July, August and September

Plenty of football left in the year. And yet most clubs played little or no football during the months of July, August and September yes but lets not kid ourselves - its not because of intercounty football. theres clubs that exited the championship in june and they are only 2 or 3 weeks ahead of kerry in terms of getting their county championships finished and we had a final replay holding things up. disruptions are due to holidays and student travel...lads going to US specifically and nothing else.

Good point Homer. The Galway hurlers exited the championship on June 15. The Galway county hurling final was played last weekend. Crazy.

With the logjam in fixtures is it time the leagues were simplified and the top of the table declared league winner in this competition in the future - League kicked off on March 10th and has been put on hold for club chamionship and county championship resulting in the final being scheduled for December 15th. It is draining on players and clubs to have a competition dragged out over 10 months. Top of the table should be declared the winner in future - I appreciate the normal top 2 situation helps keep interest alive but 10 months is too long to finish this competition.

This motion was passed last night, so some progress on this but to me this looks like there will still be a final/play-off situation if clubs finish level on points.
