Relegation i would predict Na Gaeil, Austin Stacks, Templenoe Cant see Stacks going down - they will have 3 players available who were on the Kerry panel and unavailable for large parts of '18 (and arent on the Kerry panel in '19) - Shanahan, Donaghy and Horan - and also have a lot of decent young players coming through.

Would agree on Stacks - think Kilcummin, Na Gaeil & Spa will struggle - Templenoe could be vulnerable if their 4 players remain in Kerry panel - Spa struggled towards the end of last season following a good start. Kilcummin will find life difficult too and a long season already with the intermediate campaign. KO’R will be minus Tommy Walsh but on the plus side will have Barry John, Jack Savage & Cormac Coffey available to them and will be pushing hard again for ultimate honors - Crokes will be interesting to watch with their B team in 2 - one of their sides is bound to suffer what with Kerry senior & U-20 commitments. Rathmore minus the 2 Ryan’s & Paul Murphy might find it hard to pick up points too.

Crokes are dublinising the county league, the county championship and the Munster provincial champion now.

How much of a factor do you believe funding has played a role in Dublin's success? How could Crokes be so far ahead if they are not funded better than other clubs? Could it possibly be that massive factors in the Dubs success are factors that play a role in the success of Crokes? Ye guys often intimate that there is no point taking on the Dubs jugernaut. What about the Crokes jugernaut?

Id say the main reason is that other clubs CAN match crokes for playing numbers money etc, not many but some can. Also there are districts in Kerry that could get to that level. At IC level its impossible

Just a comment to dissociate from inaccuracies posted here from a member that I said there is no point in Kerry taking on the Dubs juggernaut. In fact, I welcomed a championship tie with Dublin, this week on this forum, in August in Croke Park. Preferably a knock out tie.

Crokes got a relatively routine win over KOR today- 2.16 to 1.15. Crokes were always in control to be honest- red card for Cormac Coffey in first half made it fairly comfortable for them and they kept KOR at arms length

What sort of a team did Crokes field? Were their Kerry players/prospects rested or did they play?

That's not such a bad result for Strand Road all things considered.

Good game . Crokes had a strong team out. Mike Burns Brian Looney and Daith Casey were best for Crokes. Karl Mullins and Jack Savage were best for O’Rahillys.

Win for Rathmore over Dr. Crokes on a scoreline of 4-10 to 2-13. Rathmore went up 1-6 to 0-1 after a quarter of an hour, and went in at halftime 1-8 to 0-4 ahead. The Killarney men rallied in the third quarter and got level at 2-10 apiece with 15 minutes or so left. Two goals sealed the victory for Rathmore who got their first win of the campaign.
With Round 3 of the County League set for 12 May, focus will be on club championships until then.
After 2 rounds, only An Ghaeltacht and Kilcummin have full points, with St. Mary's and Na Gaeil the pair with no points. The remaining 8 teams have one win each, which shows some sort of parity in the division.

Good to see David Moran getting a full game under his belt.
Strange that Gavin O Brien and Tommy Walsh came on a subs.
