a 150% improvement by all and a clear and understandable team strategy in place are the minimum needed since the Galway game. Will they happen? Who knows....
Safe journey to you all and keep the faith. Ciarrai Abu.

Where is Stephen O'Brien ? There is a strange reluctance to give Daithi Casey a start? Hes a club player That is some very astute reasoning. I believe all inter county players are also club players. Casey was in the set up some three years but released by Fitz, apparently due to work rate. Now that Casey has matured and improved as a footballer it seems that Fits is reluctant to give him a second go. He has been a very important player for Crokes with very important contributions when needed the most. I thought his treatment has been very unfair especially in the build up to the Mayo. Casey has more to offer to Kerry than the likes of M Geaney and even perhaps O'Brien Casey can kick scores from distance both from play and frees, a good fielder of the ball, offers midfeild cover, good kick passer (something Kerry lack) and a strong runner with the ball. But as I said Fitz is not giving him a fair chance based on past experience when involved with Kerry.

Agree totally Tomas who......we can ill afford to not play a guy like that - I believe he could be a big-game winner for us. Very strong on the ball and very hard to dis-posses and a great kicker.

For me Paddy Andrews is the litmus test for a defensive strategy. He will only hurt you if give time, space and 70:30 ball in. Mayo have had him neutralised in the past two years

Daithi has been given very few minutes but has produced massively In the scant time he has been on the field he’s what you call a clutch player, in other word s he can deliver at the death. Which he has proved two times this league so far. To me that’s more important than athleticism and flair. It’s guts and desire to win that is not easily measured by the statisticians and he playing like he has a point to prove to me he ‘s money in the bank . Yes he’s a club player and a real good one at that . For me he has the type of toughness and mentality that can punish the Dubs

I was at Donegal v Tyrone and apart from the result, our form v Donegal sums up what we face. It was s funny auld game in that the scoreboard didn't reflect that Donegal kinda dominated the 1st quarter. Tyrone's earlier shooting was wasteful including a missed penalty but their two goals weren't exactly with the run of play and so the scoreboard remained complimentary to them, though Din na nGall did eventually tire while Tyrone if anything found energy in the final quarter. McBrearty was substituted and that it wasn't his finest hour was a big part of the result, hence their reliance on the Paddy that turns up. Murphy was pivotal and so attracted undivided attention, and for which Tyrone have plenty of suitable soldiers.
Both teams had their moments and there was even some good misses, from targeted kick-outs to long range point efforts. Goals win games and that sums it up.
Tyrone will now be on a high and home advantage is always useful v us from 'down the country.' It will be close and we will have to perform to grind out a result here, and how we do v Dubs will provide more clues. Tyrone have been inconsistent and our scalp would be ideal for Mickey heading into an Ulster Championship, as would a Tyrone scalp be nice for blooding our rookies who are nearing D Day on who swims and who sinks - in that sense it will be a cracker and though there was a good bit of rain on match day at Healy Park, the pitch held up well with negligible slipping. Tyrone have a good mix of players and I sense the Super Eights is seen as a big opportunity for a team that have historically thrived on close contests.

Really am hoping just for a performance today. If we can show anything at all to be positive about. The Dubs are unforgiving but our lads need to try stay with them in the game for as long as we can. Looking forward to seeing Adrian Spillane. He is someone who can run at this Dublin rearguard.
Im gonna be realistic and just hope we can keep them between 1 and 4 points. That would give me confidence going into the summer as maybe this young team can improve past the Dubs

Eamon Fitzmaurice has had enough time now and has only secured 1 All Ireland in his time which isn’t good enough . If he was a manager in the premier league he would be well gone by now. It’s about time he is given the sack he has been poor making wrong decisions. He is mad for giving players from his side of the county a debut which isn’t right. There are a lot of south kerry lads that deserve to be given a go but they don’t look at people in south kerry even though there the only side that can put a battle up to Dr.Crokes Also the reason Bryan Sheehan retired is because of Eamon Fitz, he wasn’t asked back to the panel so Bryan decided to retire this is a bad reflection on Eamon. I hope this is his last year as he is unprofessional and not good enough. Away with you, troll. You posted the same rubbish last night under castlegaa, which was subsequently removed along with some other stuff you put up.

In the past 5 years Eamon has won 5 Munster titles, one National league and one All Ireland, presently this makes him the second best manager in Ireland. We will win the All Ireland this year or next and by 2020 people will be calling for Kerry to be divided in two.

An absolute disgrace! Players being picked because of Kerry football politics or favoritism. I have no confidence that Fitzmaurice and Co. will deliver an All Ireland, whatever we're getting is in spite of their continued failings, and the only sport is tuning in to confirm what we already know.

I don’t have Eir sports so have to listen to radio kerry but in the honour of god will they ever get rid of your man the commentating, it’s bad enough getting hammered but Jesus there’s a game going on & he hasn’t a clue what player has the ball. There’s minutes of talking rubbish while the game is going on. . At least that Colm guy is giving us some information on what’s going on but the rest is utter drivel.

I wont be shocked if Kerry win today or get a draw Three hours is a long time in Kerry football. That second half was about as painful as it can get. Its hard to know where to even start with the analysis. The first half misses obviously hurt us, but the second half was an embarrassment! I've never really had too much negative to say about Fitz as I thought winning the All Ireland in '14 was a massive feat, but moves like bringing Fionn Fitz on for Kevin Mc, and not bringing Casey on till there were 5/10 min left and the game clearly over, its hard to know what the logic is! They really seem to be out of their depth. This will be a massive lesson for the new lads -- hopefully, it will drive them on.

Disgraceful is putting it very lightly, the amount of basic mistakes made was shocking such as terrible kick-passing,abismal shooting and not tracking the runners what so ever. Being honest the longer Fitzmaurice is in charge the harder it gets to watch Kerry and it really doesn't look like it has any chance of getting better while that man is in charge. 6 seasons in charge is long enough given his record.

No excuses . Totally outclassed in the second half. However a few observations from the armchair. Chasing the game in the second half and you recycle Michael Geaney and BJK . Good night Irene.
How long more will they persist with Peter at CHB rather than shunting him back to the full backline.
Two years ago EF matched Fionn against Ciaran Kilkenny. Physical mismatch. Today in first half they he matched Paul Murphy against Ciaran. . Same result. Do we learn from mistakes?
Still all is not lost. Very good first half and if we got those two goals we missed in that half it would lifted spirits. Persist with most of these young lads I say and we will talk back to most teams next year.

Murphy in goal, not going to do it at this level. Kelly put in a huge shift v galway and got dropped. Fitz would want to start winning games and forget about winning mind games! Also losing

IF Kerry were a Premiership team Fitzmaurice would be getting the dreaded board approval by now! The man is clueless on the sideline he really is - are they learning anything at all from the beatings Dublin are handing out to them.
That was like a co league div 1 team against a division 4 junior league team today - not one Kerry player emerges with any semblance of credit - mother of god - and that wasn’t even Dublin’s first 15
Time for Fitzmaurice to go whether it be mid season or at the end of the year. Yes we will win Munster because there is nothing in Munster but once we get out of Munster our goose is cooked.

Decent first half but missed two open goals which would have been a help.
The less said about the second half the better but the loss of both Paul Geaney and Seanie O'Shea gave us no hope really.
Fellas on here would want to cop on with the FitzMaurice out guff. It ain't gonna happen. He certainly has not got everything right since talking over but he is also coming up against a Dublin monster the likes of which football has never seen before. We're years behind Dublin in terms of athletic development but at least we're heading the right way. The days when natural strength was our huge advantage over them is well gone. Those days are gone and furthermore it was young fellas vs men in many cases today.
Be ready for a bloody Dublin 5 or 6 or more in a row. I'm going to emigrate before the crowing kills me.

Here’s a sobering thought - that was the Dubs without Fitzsimons, McCarthy, MacCaffrey and Macmenamon (I could go on). All proven championship standard players.
It’s all well and good us listing 40+ potential Kerry panelists, it’s another matter altogether whether they’re up to inter county standard. The simple fact of the matter is that the majority of Kerry’s panel today would be lucky to feature in a Dublin O’Byrne Cup side. There’s not a lot E Fitz can do about that.
What’s more disappointing is that we have very few leaders in the squad. When we lost our main one at half time things went downhill rapidly.
