Hows is this canine feast completed now, how do they decide three from four? 4 losers today get drawn in to a 2nd round where the 2 losers are then relegated. 2 winners in that round playoff and loser of that game also relegated. If Laune Rangers go down then would play with Mid Kerry next year. Cheers givehimaball. Hard to look beyond Stacks surviving when you survey the field.

That's an amazing statistic about South Kerry - no division one player on the team.
If this game boils down to a battle between JO'D and KY I will be very surprised if it not advantage Legion.

I assume tg4 are showing provincial games which I think is fair enough.

I think most GAA people around the country would appreciate the opportunity to watch JOD playing in a county final.

Raw, harsh, damp, breezy, dull morning back south west with a rumbling grey sea mirroring the sky above. It will make for difficult playing conditions. Best of luck to the four sets of players and management teams. Hopefully we'll get two very good games despite the elements with plenty of talent on view across the four teams.

I doubt very much that this battle will be the decisive factor. The 6 subs brought on by each will more likely decide it and I cant see how Legion can match SK in that area

Too true, Legion picked from the booming town of Killarney with a pick from 15,000 people versus a team picked from Renard, Valentia, Portmagee, Dromid, Sneem/Derrynane and Caherciveen, a couple of thousand people at most.

Kerrygold, the booming town of Killarney comprises of Three clubs, Dr. crokes , Legion and Spa with Dr. crokes garnering the majority of the town support so your team pick does not stand up and I imagine south Kerry have actually a bigger pick than Legion and this is coming from a Crokes supporter.

I always understood that Legion was a suberb of the town with Crokes being the town team. Would I be right in thinking that Legion's catchment starts around near Lidl and goes out towards Aghadoe... Is Aghadoe part of the catchment area of Spa?

Legion on top in Midfield. The ref is a complete joke. How did he get the job.

James o Sullivan should have got the job. This ref is unreal. Are their allegiances here or is he just useless.

He is a poor ref in general, seen him plenty of times, most recently referring a B final. He's actually convinced he's the best ref in the country. Black card in 1 st 5 mins seemed very harsh altogether. Think he's ruining what should be a great game.

Is Aghadoe part of the catchment area of Spa? Crokes and Legion wouldn't really have any particular patch of the town where they would by stronger - you would have many Legion and Crokes folk living side-by-side - Spa would tend to be that bit stronger out the Spa & Muckross areas ; basically heading out to Cork and Kenmare. Family history depends to be the key factor. Aghadoe would be Kilcummin or parts of it would stray into Fossa but Kilcummin is a fairly big sized parish geographically. Legion definitely would have less of a pick compared to Crokes - all though they have been doing better at underage of late by all accounts.

At this rate is their a chance Kerry will have no representative in the Munster senior championship? Tipperary pulled their champion last year because they left their own championship too late.

county championship now going ahead on 22nd, we would not be in this position if the standard of refereeing today was up to standard, what Seamus Mulvihill did today and Joy from killorglin cost south Kerry. It motivates Sputh Kerry even more when theese likes are against you to win the replay! Safe to say Mulvihill won't be asked to ref Sk championship this year!

Does this mean Dingle are put forward to play Nemo next weekend, or has the Munster Championship semi been put back also?

I highly doubt it that would be unfair on Legion! Co board fault we have very few games in middle of the summer and a festival of football in November! Our county players are not made available when they should be

www.kerrygaa.ie/news/368437/Kerry_SFC_Final_Replay_DateFollowing Discussions between Officers of the Munster Council and Kerry GAA it has been decided to put the Replay of the Kerry Senior Football Championship back a week to the Weekend of November 22nd. The CCC will meet tomorrow evening to confirm match details for the Replay. The St Marys V Corofin Munster Intermediate Championship game will therefore go ahead as planned next weekend Farce farce farce

Our county players are not made available when they should be It's quite simple, get the provincial championships up and running by April and have the All-Ireland championship done and dusted by the end of August. If they don't we will continue to have this cluster* at the end of a year. Spare a thought for Stradbally who 24 hours after winning their provincial championship on Friday played their opening round of the Munster championship against Nemo. Utter nonsense.
