There is enough blatant bias against kerry out there (Breheny, Brolly etc) so the likes of colm o rourke and Eugene McGee are to be welcomed. I am amazed that the most pro-kerry jounalist of them all-Eamon Sweeney- has yet to get a mention on this thred. There are a greater amount of anti-kerry jounalists around than any other county so the likes of Eamon Sweeney in particular are to be welcomed.

To say that Martin Breheny is biased against Kerry is utter nonsense. Read any of his articles over the past few years as the championship comes to fruition.
He has always been fair, honest and called it as he has seen it for Kerry in games they play. The man does not revert to gossip - he is the most connected GAA reporter on the beat and he gets the news no matter who says yes or no to him.
What Breheny is writing about at the moment is what he usually does at this time of the year:
1) Financial stories - how much the GAA is making - he does it twice a summer or thereabouts. 2) Critique pieces - looking at how lopsided the championship can be - at least once a summer. 3) Dublin are the moneybags - every year. 4) The league doesn't get enough support from the supporters and the GAA - he did it already this year 5) The GAA doesn't market itself properly - about every two years 6) Discipline - how many yellow cards etc, how many appeals got off etc - about twice in the early part of each summer.
The man has a huge amount of material to churn out each day. His best articles are the game predictions each Saturday.
Media bias against Kerry - sure didn't he interview a fleet of the Kerry players for a number of his books including his All Stars book and his encyclopedia of GAA with Donal Keenan. He has always called it as it is for Kerry - and rightly so.

On this issue, I don’t agree with you at all stacks, there was an obvious slant to the article he wrote on Armagh in relation to physicality, no balance what so ever, except in trying to endear himself to the Armagh dressing room. Maybe, his going to do a book on the Orchard County.

In fairness what does it matter what people say about us. If we are going to win, we are going to win and no one with access to a computer, printer and newspaper space is going to make a difference. Let them write what they want and say what they want cause what matters will happen in the 70 minutes we are on the field against whatever opposition we are against.

Really and truly all these newspapers arent worth the paper they are printed on. All that matters is what goes on on the pitch. I believe the Kerry lads know this, but God help the poor Dubs.

We certainly could do with some divine intervention. With the kindly advice of Saint Jack O'Connor ringing in their ears, how can they fail
