desmonds v currow should be a hard hitting local derby. There could be fair skelpin in Finuge v Dromid as well

Admin, can you find out if the Finuge- Dromid game is going ahead this weekend or if not, what county league games they are playing? seems to be a bit of confusion among players i've been talking to

The fixtures that were released to the website are listed on: kerry.gaa.ie/fixtures/weekly/upcoming.htmNo updates to these fixtures have been received as of this moment, - but it is possible changes have been made.

the desmonds should of won it without going into extra time , good for desmonds were john and kieran brennan and mossy lyons ,the only one that stood out for currow was seamus scalon john buckley had a bad game ...tension was high at the match !

Yip your spot on TC! But can someone please explain to me how that game was called off YET the kerry players involved all played league games with their clubs over the weekend!!!!! So let me try to understand this ....They can play league but not championship!!! But hang on a minute haven't they been stopped playing league games all season to date? Double standards and total hypocrrasy by the county board again showuing total disrespect for the club player!!!! They should be ashamed of themselves!!!! And this post will now omst likely be pulled!!!!

Wasn't there a rule that anyone who started in the first 15 against Cork was not able to play but the others were. So Finuge wouldn't have Galvin fof their game so played a league game instead of the intermediate game v Dromid. I think thats what happened anyway.

Finuge played Dingle in the league on Saturday evening alright.Ended up a draw.Murphy,Griffin or Galvin weren't playing but Eamonn Fitz played the full game.

I agree mossie. but it should ahve been played with Galvin allowed to play too. it was fully 3 weeks before the all ireland. its insane to mollycoddle plaers like that.

glad so see folk siding with me inforthebreaks
the compromise should have been a round of senior championship games last weekend & intermediate games & then down tools for the All Ireland final. sure it would have left them with the same amount of time as Mayo to prepare for the final. the county board would have benefited from massive gate receipts as well with football fever gripping the county at the moment.
I saw a lot of football folk at the Kilmoyley v Ballyduff hurling game on Saturday night. They were just itching for some competitive fare. Interestingly the county board got a handsome gate receipt from the hurling games at the weekend especially the Kilmoyley v Ballyduff game

Exactly Mossie, 4 weeks before the final players should be allowed play. There'll be some backlog of games after the all ireland, especially for those whose teams go a long way in the county championship which will delay everything even further. Down here in south Kerry the last two years football have gone right up to christmas and i cant see any big changes this year either. All i can guess is that the county management dont want someone to get injured like Bryan Sheehan...
