I'll go for: Dromid Desmonds Spa Waterville Finuge Annuascaul Ardfert Currow
Also did the county board not learn from their mistakes by fixing the games for 7.30 with extra time being played in the event of a draw. Say a game starts at 7.40, between injury time and half time might not finish till 9 pm. Then 20 or 30 mins extra time - cant see it happening especially if the weathers bad.

Ardfert will struggle down in Sneem I feel !
A number of their key players including Stephen Wallace, John Egan, Conor Flaherty and Mike Moloney are either injured or doubtful and looking at a couple of their players in action the last day for the Brendans, it was evident that they are beginning to feel the effects of their exploits over the Winter ! This was particularly the case with the likes of Eamon Ferris and Johnaton Best !

Wallace will be back for the sneem game, conor flaherty will def be absent,John egan will play but is still carrying a knock from the hurling game against dublin, mike moloney is very doubtful, i also think ardfert will find the going tough down in sneem as they only scraped home by 1pt against them in the county league having led by 9pts, but in saying that they played their best game in the last 2 or 3 years against spa, winning the game in some style, this is their first away game of this years campaign and it will be a real test, depends if they are on form or not on the day, if they are on form i have no doubt they will beat sneem but that has only happen'd twice in the last year against ballyduff in the county junior and against spa a few weeks back in the league, im sure sneem will fancy their chances at home, and if ronan hussey is on form they will be hard to beat down there.

ardfert going strong very good win against sneem. never a easy place to go. heard that st michaels foilmore were unlucky to lose they were the better team against annascaul.

Annascaul did indeed struggle a bit against St. Michaels Foilmore on Sunday, but a lot of this was down to the quality of the pitch. I have not seen a worse playing surface for a long time. It resembled a bog more than a football pitch. I think it is worrying for the other teams in the competition when they are playing badly and still winning. And like I have mentioned before, with Sean and James Farrell plus Bingo Driscoll returning to the side over the next month or so, they are still the team to beat in my opinion.

We had a handy win against Marys. Never in trouble. Didn't make it down due to College exams but we would have expected tougher competition to be honest. I'd say Finuge and Ardfert are the teams to beat. Annascaul are always difficult on their own patch but think one of the North Kerry boys would catch them at home.

FatTom it was the pace of ye're inside forwards that made the difference in the first half. 2nd half they were held well enough. Wides in the 2nd half killed St. marys about 10 or 11

Good win Tom. Agree that Ardfert (with their winning mentality) and Annascaul are the big teams left although i would'nt discount the winners of GGuilla and Castleisland either. I see Finuge had Eamonn Breen and Maurice Corridan back for the first time as well which well make them tougher to beat.

Yeah. Gneevguilla will be sick after throwing a 9 point lead away. Themselves and Desmonds are decent sides. I was very surprised that Currow beat Ballymac too.

Anyone have any idea when the draw for the next round is on? Great win for Currow in fairness. I heard the Marys were very poor against Spa Tom. Ye must be shaping up well all the same.

Spa havent a chance of winning it, saw them lately and they arent that good, finuge at full strength would be my favourites, ardfert mite have a chance if they can avoid finuge, finuge have beat'n them in their last 2 meetings in the junior 2 years ago in ballybunion when both teams were at full strength, finuge were by far the better team that day, and last year in division 3 of the county league where both teams were missing players in a poor game, but ardfert have improved since then and mite give them a better rattle this year if the chance came about,Gneeveguilla and Annascaul will also fancy their chances.

I dont think you can say that Spa ahevnt a chance of winning it Frank. who would have tipped Legion this time last year? Waterville played finuge in the county league in Finuge and they were quite poor. Spa have teh ability to beat anyone on their day. I would say them, finuge and annascaul would be favourites.

Anything is possible i suppose maybe the game i saw was a poor performance by them, it had to be they were hammer'd but your right you cant judge a team on one outing, i apologise for such a mad prediction, but still i dont fancy them for it.

After Legion winning last year I don't think you can rule any team out. There isn't that much difference in standard between most of the teams and so predicting a winner is quite difficult.
I for one would have given Legion no chance last year.

The draw is tonight but I dont think it makes a difference who a team gets as the 8/9 teams that are left are all very strong. The only thing that might sway results is home venues.

Not much between any of the teams all capable of beating each other on their day. Home venues will decide a lot.
