Hard to tell if there will be wholesale changes, or a similar line out tomorrow night, personally, would like to see more of Breen, Joe ‘Connor and the two wing men from Mid-Kerry, Sean O’Brien and Killian Bourke. Being honest, I was a bit disappointed in Roche, Geaney and Killian Spillane. I think in particular Roche and Spillane need to grasp their chances, there may not be many more. I didn’t see much of Buckley the last day, the half appeared to by-pass him. Might even suggest Spillane and Joe O’Connor pair up in the middle. but like most have alluded to, a good inning by the above mentioned would do wonders for the lads themselves and guarantee another competitive game pre-league. Hermit - Anyone heading up to Limerick? What's the parking situation like in Rathkeale?? Parking is fine, if I recall, the last time I was there, it was baltic, I left there rattling and craving the hot toddy. Looks like another cold one on Sat horse. Jack pretty much alluded to doing the same again on Sat as he did on Wednesday. A heavy winter club pitch will not be as fast as ASP so I'm not expecting the same level of performance.

the Limerick Match is tomorrow? wow, didnt know that.....and now, it makes even more sense that we made so many changes the last night, 2 games in 3 days is a huge injury risk so it was right to take 11 lads off quickly.
youd imagine tomorrow will see lads play 40 mins or more who didnt play similiar game time, on wednesday night.

Stefan actually playing more infield and O'Brien on the half-back line? Didn't see too much from Conor Geaney the last night so let's see if he can make an impression.

I thought Darragh Lyne might get a look. He had a good year.

Makes sense I think to give Stefan a run at centre back. He might be a bit too loose to play in the full back line. He is the ideal sweeper as he is quick and athletic so in theory should be able to cover the ground. Depends on how he reads the game etc. But, great to have a backup place if anything happens Tadhg. Its one fairly pacey half backline picked for tomorrow anyway.

Considerably stronger, that team would not look out of place in a national league game.
In articular the midfield pairing, two physically big but mobile lads, add those two along with both wing forwards are an imposing quartet for any opposing goalkeeper trying to find his target.
As some one mentioned above, pacey wing backs.
It will be interesting to see how well Seanie plays inside and the volume of changes Jack will make again as the game unfolds, but like I said, nice midfield pairing,

I felt Stefan was very keen and very green the last.night with the result that he committed a lot of fouls. I hope he is more relaxed and calculating tomorrow.
I commented on Sean O’Brien’s fielding ability , wondering if his future is at wingback or midfield. I am pleased that he is getting a run at midfield tomorrow.

A foul or two, yeah, but I thought he looked quite imposing out there. Tipp weren't getting any change from him, that's for sure. An enthusiastic-looking performance from the lads overall, considering the time of year especially. .

I would say the opposite, I think our backup for morely would be be breen, and then Murphy then Tom osullivan I think they are better centre backs then Stefan although Stefan I think would be in the top 3 replacements for Jason foley if he happened to get injured hopefully stefan proves me wrong

Wing back and for me an calm influence to come off the bench.

A very strong team up to and including midfield. A surprisingly unbalanced forward line with three work horses, all of whom rarely threaten the score board. This is one of the main issues we are trying to rectify. Still it’s only the McGrath Cup. I would not be happy with that starting forward line against Derry.

Hopefully this will be a lineup for start of the national league v Derry...
Nice to see these new faces / lads break through the squad, the biggest problem is trying to find replacement for the main starters we have or even to try shift some of the starters we have..
Hopefully we will learn something from todays match as opposed to Wednesday.

Limerick very disappointing. Big gulf in class . Disappointed with Dara Roche over the 2 games was expecting more considering what was missing. Will be lucky to hold a spot on bench for championship

Hard to take anything out of that game apart from another 35 minutes of action at least for the majority of lads which one would hope is better than numerous training sessions but based on these two matches it's hard to know really. Seanie again looked impressive in the full forward line and I think needs to be kept there. The 2 Geaneys and Sean O Brien also had very good first halves while out of the second half entrants Micheal Burns and Keith Evans looked very lively and also a mention to Paudie O'Leary who looked very assured and smart with his runs and always looking for the right pass. Roche and Spillane again I think need to do a bit more even though it is still early on in the season but the big plus out of theses two games is the performance of Joe O'Connor and possibly shows what we missed last year First real test is gonna be on the 19th when hopefully we get to see alot of these guys again against much tougher opposition when one can truly evaluate a performance

Will be lucky to hold a spot on bench for championship Very good club player but just a bit off being a Kerry inside forward if we’re being honest. I don’t see him getting league game time with the other options we have. The final which realistically will be against Cork will be taken more seriously I’d imagine, we won’t see a big load of changes at half time so the team selection will be more telling a week out from Derry.

Well if Tipp were disappointing then Limerick were abject.
However regardless of the opposition you can still take certain things from the game.
Fitness looks excellent.
Sharpness looks good.
Seanie at 14 looks excellent and lean.
Joe O Connor looks the real deal will be interesting to see him beside Diarmuid.
Given we have 6 starters to come back we look like we have real depth now.

5-10 to 0-5 at halftime massive gulf in class learning nothing today Think learned plenty. Certainly a few lads witb names showed they won't ever make it and maybe better off being cut now and allow new lads take their spot on 26 for rest of year.
