I'd say the delay is more down to Dublin mayo tickets going on sale at the same time. The website performance is brutal - fell over a couple of times before I got to queue-IT When I entered queue, there were 900 ahead of me. 90 minutes later I am 257 in queue. That means they have sold to less than 650 customers in an hour and a half. Does the server have a dial-up modem? I'd hate to be in the queue for the Dublin/mayo match.

Queue for the tickets on Tickets.ie are currently close to an hour, I'd say there'll be a pretty decent crowd at the game. I'd say the delay is more down to Dublin mayo tickets going on sale at the same time. Thats a different queue altogether, albeit a longer one

Gaa website wasn't responding at all.
Finally got tickets via Ticketmaster. Resurrected an old account I had with them which I have not used for ages.
The GAA is fast becoming the preserve of those with lots of time and money on their hands and technology at their fingertips.

Tried ticket master very limited tickets, aiming to head to supervalu tonight, assume no issues there?

This is also a function of the lack of time between Super 8s and the AISFs.

No one talking football here yet I may as well start Not sure how Tyrone will set up but apparently they can play several ways now probably they will start with everyone behind the ball and we know all the different way to break this line of defense with shooting from outside and breaking the tackles and possibly by playing wide to stretch them How do we handle their counter attack and running through the miiddle may be our most challenging item Then there s Mattie Donnelly snd Cathal Mc Shane playing the footballl of their life at present .
I think Mayo can beat Dublin I really do main arguments for this is Dublin have had no high intensity do or die games this year wheresas Mayo are fully battle hardened now and have got their timing good to peak Absolutely no substitute for tight games real games Mayo have the edge here Mayo had to go and find a few forwards any the really done their homework here with Carr and McDonagh Coen to a lesser extent People here have suggested that Ruane mark Fenton I think you ll see that the other way around Rouane will put Dublin on the back foot he’s another Fenton in the making only a more prolific scorer Kerry V Mayo. AI Final !!

Just home from supervalue in Tralee. Options there are very disappointing only selling the Davin and the edge of the lower Cuasack on the davin end. Anybody know anywhere more local where tickets are being sold online is also a disaster.

Ticketmaster with their higher service charges seems to be working. Tickets hidden away behind the goal and you pay E5 over face value for the pleasure.

I’ve yet to date ever got a good ticket online, always in the corners. Persevered with Queue-it on gaa.ie and after almost 6 hours got in. Got Lower Cusack but in 301, where else?

Probably Dublin Joe if its Dublin v Tyrone & Gough if its Dublin v Kerry. Then again Dublin John might just go with Dublin Joe regardless. Think Gough is a cert to ref the final - media building him up, has not had the honour before - Brian Gavin in the Examiner today suggesting Gough is the best man for the job. We will worry about Tyrone first! Brolly beating that same drum all summer also. Is Gough affiliated to the same club in Dublin as Kevin McManamon?

Wat crowd is expected for Sunday? Will 50k be the expected figure? I wonder will it just be the lower tiers open and a section of the hill

I think he is a teacher and a coach in the school that provides a lot of the players to the club so would have good relationships with them as a result.

The ridiculous queues were the same the day the Mayo game went on sale, and yet you could get tickets handy enough the day before the game for a 35K capacity. The queues are more an indication of how pathetic the official tickets website has become more than any crazy demand for the game I would say.

Plus the rivalry between the 2 teams over the past 15 years should make it even more mouthwatering. I for one can't wait.

They haven't opened the upper tiers yet which would suggest a crowd of 40-50 for this one. The gaa will have to look at this a 2 week build up to a semi where you lose the first day bank holiday Monday is just bad planning.
My personal opinion is if they had 2 weeks they should give the club's first pick in week one and then once they are catered for release general sale.

With all the talk about tickets, crowd size and transport there must be a decent number at least planning to travel.

We are regularly outnumbered by Tyrone fans when we play them in Croker. I expect this will be no different. Or maybe they are the ones now thinking of waiting for a final with the way they have gone through the qualifiers Any team news coming out? JOD still on the shelf?

Ruane looks a good addition, bit I think even Mayo fans would agree that he has a bit to go to be compared to Fenton, on the scoreboard or anywhere else. And yes, a loss would make for some interesting obituaries. On the other side of the coin, Dublin have a chance to retire some of these Mayo warriors on Saturday.
