So it will be Tyrone, a team who tries to outscore the opposition vs a team who tries to concede less than the opposition. Hopefully Kerry can split open Tyrones blanket and play some free flowing football.

Tyrone defensive system designed to counter attack at pace. Vital to have two players to sit back around midfield to cut out these attacks and be the link to switch play. You need to use width against the blanket to create space.

I agree fully but Tyrone aren't going to give us the opportunity to score from the high percentage scoring zones so we need more of our natural scorers on the field.

Meath opened us up easily a couple of times in the first half running right up the middle of our Defense. It was like the old days.
Tyrone will target that and run at us in numbers through the middle.
Im worried about our weakness being exposed next Sunday.
Tough game to call. If we can hold them and not give away easy goals we have a good chance.
Our Forwards will put up the scores. Weather conditions and referee decisions of course will be huge.

I have to say that I don't know what to make of Tyrone at the moment.
They beat Roscommon in Hyde Park by 4 points. They put in a good second half v Cork after being beaten in the first half.
In the qualifiers I think they beat Longford and Kildare and Cavan.
I think we must go back to the meeting with Donegal to evaluate them in any meaningful way

Cork had Tyrone chasing shadows in the first half, reminded me of the Dublin/Tyrone semi a couple of years ago. The sideline kept calling out for patience but the problem was they were a bit too patient and if they had gone for the jugular more they would have been out of sight by half time. Really left that game after them. Mattie Donnelly is Tyrone's main man, should probably have gotten Man of the Match in all three Super 8 games. Keep him reasonably quiet and we're half way there.

I think this Kerry team is a very different proposition to every Kerry side since the 2014 final - PK has introduced a more adaptable and versatile framework with a team that can hustle for 70 minutes - we have spent too long worrying about how to adapt to opposition teams - the current setup is a reversal of trend. We should enter CP with confidence next Sunday.

On one hand yes, it was a must win game, but on the other hand from the players' point of view you had every single person in the country telling them they'd win it handy. It is very hard to get the same intensity when you half think already that the game is won. Both semi-finals are looking to be right crackers!

I agree with you BTF. A team will prrform differnetly when backs are to the wall. Do we analyze our defence as they played last night or as they played v Mayo in Killarney. This team has upped the ante when required. I think they will do so again on Sunday.

The key men for Tyrone are Cathal McShane, Petey Harte and Mattie Donnelly. I personally think Morley is more suited to McShane, I'd have Tom Sullivan on Harte (to track him going forward & back) and Adrian Spillane on Donnelly. Kerry will need to hug the touchline in this game going forward as Colm Cavanagh does his role as sweeper very, very effectively.

They will give Gough the final to show what a great association they are. Gough feels like he should have had one already.

O'Rourke expects Dublin - Tyrone rematch in All-Ireland final
Former Monaghan manager Malachy O'Rourke expects Dublin and Tyrone to meet for a second successive All-Ireland final.
The reigning champions concluded their Super 8s campaign with a six-point win in Omagh, though it was something of a phoney war, with a total of 29 personnel changes between the two sides with semi-final berths already assured.
The upshot is that Jim Gavin will welcome their big guns back for Saturday’s semi-final against Mayo, while the following day Tyrone will travel to Croke Park to take on Munster champions Kerry.
O’Rourke was in charge of Monaghan when the Red Hand pipped them in last year’s semi-final, but Mickey Harte’s side came unstuck in the decider.
Twelve months later and he says that despite an up-and-down campaign, Tyrone have shown signs of tactical progression.
"It has been a funny season for Tyrone," he told RTÉ Sport. "They finished the league really well and were a lot more expansive. They were working really well and beat Dublin.
"The first couple of rounds of the Ulster championship were the same, but against Donegal, the house fell in on them a wee bit. They were cut open very easily, and after that, he [Mickey Harte] resorted back.
"That has been enough to get them to this stage."
Mayo have come as close as anyone to stopping the Dublin juggernaut in the last five years, but most observers, Colm Cooper included, expect the men from the capital to prevail.
The other semi-final promises to be an intriguing affair and O'Rourke is backing Harte to overcome the Kingdom yet again in a storied managerial campaign.
Whether they have enough to land Sam Maguire, however, remains to be seen.
"I think these two teams [Dublin and Tyrone] will meet in the All-Ireland final again. It’s whether Tyrone can get that balance between being a threat going forward and being solid at the back.
"There is a lot of work going into that.
"Kick-outs are key. It’s about really putting pressure on the Dublin kick-out and trying to get a platform from there so that when Dublin aren’t as well set-up at the back, that you have a chance to attack."
"By the same token, if you lose the kick-out to Dublin, you have to be so well set up at the back.
"It is about that balance."

Yes so no point playing backs in the forward line. White Lyne for example
