Terracetalk has it down as Bellaghy, RTE website says Maghera and I'm sure Kerry did play a game in Ballinascreen. The game was scheduled for Ballinascreen but was moved to Bellaghy. From the relevant thread here on the forum: match changed from ballinascreen to bellaghy:
The Ballinscreen club is up in arms after the Derry county board decided to move Sunday week’s glamour NFL Division 1 clash with Kerry to Bellaghy.
The Oak Leafers thumped Westmeath in their last outing at Ballinascreen, but the venue won’t be playing host to last year’s beaten All-Ireland finalists after Derry manager Damian Cassidy had requested that the game be switched to Bellaghy.
Derry chairman Seamus McCloy explained: "He (Cassidy) felt that the surface in Ballinascreen was too heavy, and if there was rain, that it would cut up even worse.
"It was the manager’s request. The county board passed the decision to move the game to Bellaghy and it was approved by Croke Park."
But Ballinascreen chairman Lawrence Cleary is furious over the venue switch.
"We are really disappointed. I can’t understand how they can make a decision on a pitch 18 days before the match," he said.
"At the end of the day, Derry beat Westmeath by 14 points and they scored 1-18. I can’t see what the problem is.
"We spent a lot of money in our preparation for these matches. We put in new fencing and built new dugouts. We are really annoyed about this."
Celtic Park usually hosts Derry’s home matches, but it is currently unavailable due to redevelopment work.

The game was moved to Bellaghy though so wayupnorth was right. Those of a more brittanic persuasion indeed refer to the town and surroundings as Draperstown whereas the Irish prefer a variety of different names. The name of the town in Irish is Baile na Croise, the name of the parish Baile na Scrine. Most of the people in the town and parish are of a Catholic background but a whole host of names are being used for the town and surroundings. The only official name is Draperstown though and that is how it is signposted.

wayupnorth is 100% sure the Bondi Beach bound ball was kicked in Bellaghy and he lives close by, sullyschoice says Balliascreen. Which is it? twas kicked in Bellaghy and landed in Ballinascreen. will that settle it?

Worst thing about watching the games on TG4 is having to listen to Jarlath Burns. Radio Kerry on so hoping for better commentary. Weeshie has other commitments today though

Still, I'd take being able to watch something over listening to it any day, the song selection from Radio Kerry in the build up isn't the best though...

I am not fluent in Irish, far from it, but I love listening to commentary on TG4. I understand more and more each time I listen to it. I'm more annoyed with the amount of time spent on English soccer on Sunday sport

Kerry starting badly again. Seems like Moran has a great game again. Also sounds like half the Kerry team hang around in defence. Sheehan free. Derry fullback on a yellow. Kerry should definitely win this.

Very good Sheehan score. He looked afraid to score last week but so far it looks like he has found his rhythm again. CHF or WF is my favourite position for him. I haven't heard Walsh mentioned at all yet. Any idea how he is doing? Buckley partnering Moran in midfield but also doesn't seem to be involved much.

Gary O'Sullivan struggling in the first half with the voice. Hope he makes it to full time.

Meanwhile Tyrone are showing their ugly side again. The new tactic seems to be to "shake off" the marker by throwing an arm backwards. Isn't that just an attempt to strike?

Seems like a good game we're missing. Bryan Sheehan with four points already, that AIB video gave him a bit of a confidence boost it seems.

Another week of training and some choice words by Eamon have done the trick. Ladies are being massacred meanwhile though.

Fireside, don't think Derry play any games in Maghera. That 09 game was probably in Ballinascreen (aka Draperstown). The roads aren't fantastic up to Derry. The road from Ballygawley (off the M1) is mostly one lane all the way to Derry. From Sligo would be much the same. For those travelling by public transport, be aware displaying your county colours. The bus/train station is on the Waterside of the city, which is mostly unionist. Without trying to put the fear of God into you, it does pay to be cautious. You just never know. All it takes is one sectarian arse, and it's not uncommon for GAA fans to be attacked or abused (no matter where in Ireland they're from!). Ard Mhacha I was in the premium level on the Cusack Stand for the drawn game v Armagh in 2000. There was an Armagh supporter wearing the sash and a bowler hat. I could never figure out was it done for the craic or was he serious. He looked serious and was engrossed in the game. It might have been a genuine Orangeman... unlikely though There's a few fans that don the sash and bowler hats for the craic. There's also a 'Garvaghy Road Orangemen on Tour' flag seen at games too, but it's been known to be removed when a match is on TV.

I know more than a few supporters in Down that wouldn't follow the football at all because they are from the protestant community. They would go to the big games in Croke Park though because it is their county after all. Those are usually the more moderate protestants and not the people that would join the orange order. I suspect that would be the case in Armagh too, though the differences between the two communities seem to be harsher in Armagh. On a sidenote I have been told more than once that national flags are not allowed in Croke Park and noticed myself that a steward in croker asked a Kerry supporter to remove a flag though that might also have been because it blocked advertising. I wonder if it would be okay in Fitzgerald stadium to have some banners put up against the wall behind the goal. It would surely add a bit to the atmosphere.

Maher into midfield, Buckley to CHF, Tommy off. Lot of subs and positional switches expected in my opinion. Buckley and both Geaneys much better this week.

Is it me or does it sound like Sheehan and Barry John have a great game? Barry John has become better and better and this might be his big year. Mayo meanwhile struggling against Tyrone. They look like a shadow of last week's team. Did last week took too much out of them? Tyrone don't look that impressive so you'd be wondering why Mayo can't put them away.

Moran my man of the match to be honest to Michael Geaney and Bryan Sheehan also played good enough to get man of the match. Kerry's forwards in flying form, especially Paul Geaney while Barry John Keane made life very hard for the Derry defence. Much improved performance and a solid foundation for our next game. With Mayo spilling points we are looking much better now.
