If you did a survey on this forum I bet the majority of people fancy Templenoe, however that same cold wind will also be blowing around Templenoe late October!

Looking at either the 8th or the 15th of November I presume the winners of this weekends senior semi final will have an effect on the date picked

I fancy Templenoe for this one, they didnt play well against Firies but still came out on the right side of it with 6 points to spare, Glenbeigh are good young team but have to say that they are the Mayo of this comp just looks like it will never happen for them.

As far as I can remember Glenbeigh have been in the Junior final twice in their history (1991 & 2013) but have never won it, so I'm sure they didnt pass out any funeral on the way home to go celibrating. No curse on Glenbeigh or is there??

Seasiders your getting awful touchy about this - what will you be like in the run up to the final. GG were planning for Munster and AI campaigns in the last 2 years and were caught - I know that Keel certainly used the over confidence to their advantage two years ago.
Let's see how this one plays out - either way should be a cracker - Templenoe to shade it by a point or two in my opinion

Glenbeigh will be hot favourites in a lot of people's eyes - just not mine - having secured division 1 status and beaten senior teams like rahillys and legion of late they would be favourites in most people's eyes I would think
Temolenoe to shade it in my opinion - any news when it's on - prob week after co final if kenmare get there??

How can you suggest that Glenbeigh are hot favourites and then say you think Templenoe will win it? Nearly everyone that has posted in this forum fancy Templenoe so how that makes Glenbeigh hot favourites is beyond me. Final fixed for the 8th Nov if Kenmare are beaten not sure when it will be on if they win.

Templenoe may be unsettled if Kenmare win and get to the county final, but still think Templenoe by a point or two.

Strange that a div 1 side in the county league would not be outright favourites going into a Junior final?

Strange that a div 1 side in the county league would not be outright favourites going into a Junior final? Templenoe will be playing division One football next year. There isn't much between these two teams although I think Templenoe are marginally stronger all round. Templenoe by 3 for me!

Seasider I make that assessment on the basis thatGG have beaten Dingle the co club champions and also rahillys this year as well as waterville- also having pa Kilkenny Gavin Grady and Darren in their ranks 3 co standard footballers - so a lot of people in mid Kerry believe it's theirs to lose
As u said your getting touchy already - you should prob steer clear of the forum for a while ol stock

and you to "thoushaltnotinsultglenbeigh" - don't be ordering any tyres and other bonfire necessaries too early now - learn from past mistakes - as I said the wind is picking up and it could be blown out - even before the final whistle.

Instead of posting silly comments about Glenbeigh & Templenoe just stick yer necks out, Glenbeigh or Templenoe to win the junior? I'm going with Templenoe by one or two points.

With the attacking talent on both sides you'd have to think there will be goals in this game and while it's hard to pick a winner, I would not be surprised if one team was to win handy by 7 or 8 points ,just not sure which club I'd slightly fancy templenoe

I hear Templenoe players didn't train with Kenmare district again this week as they see a great chance of winning the junior all-Ireland, if they had put in the same effort with the district they could have had both.

I heard that the templenoe lads have been sacrificing kids to their, non Christian, God. Is there any depth they won't stoop to??

I'd love to see Glenbeigh win. I think they should have won it over the past 2-3 years but for a grouping of reasons they've fallen short. They have as good a team this year as they've had in a long time. Its crazy to think of the team they'd have if all of their players under the age of 30 were available to them, Aidan O Shea, the Connor Brothers etc. Templenoe are young and fearless though, and possibly have a more rounded team. The clashes of Darran at centre forward and Grady full forward, against Morely and Crowley could be the winning and the losing of the game. The heart says Glenbeigh but the head says Templenoe who seem to have a very solid 15. Should be a cracker, both will be worthy representatives for Kerry no doubt

Templenoe much the better side and fully deserving of their win, glenbeigh totally underperformed today shouldn't be getting a hammering seeing as they were good enough to beat the likes of rahillys and dingle in co league. they are good enough to giv e it a rattle again next year but how many times can the likes of fergal Griffin go to the well in this competition especially with the likes of Beaufort Emmett s annascaul and dare I say it keel involved next year it doesn't get any easier. templenoe a young and upcoming team should minimum win Munster and should establish themselves in div 1 next year.

Templenoe full value for there win today glenbeigh had a lacklustre start to the game while templenoe looked hungrier and sharper the damage was done in the first half, glenbeigh never really looked like they were going to get back in to it, great achievement by templenoe winning the novice and junior in 3 seasons, hard to swallow for glenbeigh who just didn't seem to perform on the day

Very disappointing game, Templenoe by a country mile the better team. Glenbeigh were poor for a div 1 team in a county junior final.
