Hard tough game listry v firies from a neutral point of view listry will rue the penalty miss in extra time and firies who I thought shaded the game will not be happy with there shooting and taking the right option in the attack, listry s forward line probably did better from less ball. It was a free riddled game with some strange calls from the ref. 1 black card for firies deserved should of had another black for the penalty and how a listry player escaped without a card of any colour in the second half for a potential leg breaking challenge mystifies.

Yeah I heard it was meant to be very physical, with Listry possibly a bit over physical at times and quite cynical in the tackle. Firies to win the replay with home advantage I reckon. In the other games looks like Templenoe had an easy run out. Na Gaeil will be very disappointed with their performance I reckon. Glenebigh seemed to be in control of their game throughout, Ballymac got a late goal there I think. When is draw for Semi Finals anybody know?

Beaufort beat daugh well tonight, duagh will probably feel aggrieved at some of the ref's decisions but their own lack of discipline left them down badly, ronan Murphy the stand out player on the night, after liam carey s first half goal duagh never looked like getting back in to the game and ending the game with 13 player's on the field certainly didn't help them, game petered out into a non event last 20 minutes. Beaufort have some fine player's who on their day look capable of causing glenbeigh trouble Murphy, carey, Courtney all look good full back line looked very solid young hallisey number 9 I think played very well can't see it being an easy draw for glenbeigh on tonight's evidence

Listry Ballymac Duagh Na Gaeil Somehow you managed to get all your predictions wrong, it would be interesting to see who you think will get to the final? ?

Haha I'm unreal sure! Semi finals will be hard to call..... County Semi finals like they're not going to be straight forward. I think there's a lot of pressure on templenoe with everybody making them out to be this fantastic team while glenbeigh have thought they'd win this junior with the last 5 years or so and have always bottled it. No pressure on Beaufort and Firies anyway so be interesting !!!

Glenbeigh as you say seem to bottle it every year and Beaufort always put it up to them, I will stick my neck out and go with my original prediction of a Glenbeigh Templenoe final.

Based on your last predictions firies and Beaufort will be delighted with you, only joking, yeah would agree with you templenoe should have to much for firies other game much harder to call both teams have player's who on their day could swing it there way the game is probably still 6 week's away and injuries or loss of form could play a big part, at this stage I would sit on the fence till closer to the time ,should be plenty of banter with mid kerry when they join up shortly

The only reason Glenbeigh didn't train last year was due to 13 players involved with midkerry. You seem to suggest they just won't bother training!!!!! There is a difference between bottling it and just not bothering.

There is a difference between bottling it and just not bothering. Were Glenbeigh not training at all? As in not even a gathering? If that is the case then they will find it hard to win the junior championship, teams not to meet up a minimum of once a week. The days are gone where a team can just show up and win, unless they are completely superior to their rivals and Glenbeigh have shown in previous seasons that this is not the case.

They had 13 players training two nights a week with midkerry simply gathering is not good enough. Looking at the championship draw it looks like it could end up the same way this year.A few years ago Gneeveguilla stopped all their players from playing with eastkerry to concentrate on the intermediate championship which they went on to win, maybe Glenbeigh should have taken the same approach. Looks like Templenoe are hot favourites.

Big weekend ahead for this championship. How will it to lads? I suppose you'd have to fancy templenoe and Glenbeigh.... Then again championship football anything is possible..

Going on form the Beaufort Glenbeigh game will be a cracker, too tight to call but winners will meet Templenoe in the final.

That is going to be a hard won championship. It will stand in good stead to the winners going forward in Munster and hopefully in the All-Ireland series.

To be honest I havent seen Firies playing this year but have seen Templenoe a number of times, unless Fires have vastly improved on last year I can't see them toppling Templenoe. Maybe you have other thoughts which would be interesting to hear.

Only saw Firies the once this year when they played my own club. Nice young team with some well experienced lads in there too. Going by their wins in championship this year ( Toppled Dromid & Listry i see from results) I'm sure they'll give Templenoe a right go of it. Templenoe are building a nice team themselves so no doubt they'll go in as favourites. Could some of the Templenoe lads have one eye on the following weekend with Kenmare District however??
As regards the other semi it's going to be a right good battle. A mid kerry derby with a spot in a county final at stake, has the makings of a cracker in Killorglin on Saturday. Tight, tense, tough and physical affair no doubt. I noticed Grady & Kilkenny didn't play for Mid Kerry in their loss to West Kerry but I assume they're available to Glenbeigh this weekend.
