As I said I havent seen Firies this year but hardworker you are right they had good wins over Dromid & Listry so maybe a surprise is on the cards. In the other semifinal I agree this is going to be a ding dong afair however I belive O'Grady is out didnt play against Dingle either, a toss of a coin for this one.

Would be very surprised if templenoe don't beat firies , they will give it there all but templenoe look to have to much firepower for Furies . ln the other game Beaufort have serious injury concerns over carey and Ronan murphy these 2 player's would be a massive loss to there club glenbeighs failure in the last 2 years will be a big driving force for them

Templenoe far too good for firies, Glenbeigh to beat Beaufort in a tight game!

What kind if numbers would Templenoe be drawing from population wise?

If either Templenoe or Glenbeigh win the Junior Championship, I'd wager a good few euro that no team will come within 7 or 8 points of them in Munster or the All Ireland semi final and final.

I,m sure any of the four teams remaining would give the Munster & All Ireland championship a good go, I'm not so sure about Templenoe & Glenbeigh winning every game by 7 or 8pts thou. We will see who wins it and maybe then we can have a wager.

What kind if numbers would Templenoe be drawing from population wise? Wouldn't know for sure to be honest glengael. Cant imagine it' too large though. Supposedly not much coming through in the club in the younger ranks so the current team is meant to be the great white hope of Templenoe football.

Population wise it would be about 300-400 people I reckon. Membership would be about 120/130.

Well one half of your prediction has come off with Glenbeigh beating Beaufort 18 pts to 11, must say on this performance Firies or Templenoe wont be shaking in their boots. For a game that had so much hype it was a very poor affair, Beaufort the dominant team in the first half but only went in one point in front. Glenbeigh did play much better in the second half but as I say the other semifinalists wont be worrying too much about meeting them in the final.

Think your being a bit harsh on glenbeigh,Beaufort were the dominant team in the first half and should of been further ahead as a Beaufort supporter was not happy with a few of the ref's calls towards the end of the first half but that might be clutching at straw's in the 2nd half glenbeigh were very impressive and Beaufort struggled to come out of there own half aided by Colin MCs dominance at midfield if glenbeigh can play for 2halfs like the 2nd they will take a bit of stopping, good luck to them in the final

Without being dis respectable to Beaufort who I'm sure will be a force to be reckoned with in a few years a better team would have gone in at HT 6 or 7 pts up, if Glenbeigh are to win this competition they need to be at their best for both half's.

Darren is togging out alright and played well yesterday to be fair - problem with GG is they think they have the junior won before they play it! I personally think Templenoe will win it this year assuming they do not get any injuries to their key players.

That has the makings of a fascinating junior final in what will be between two div. 1 teams in the county league in 2016.

Yes Darran was Glenbeigh's main man yesterday, but talking crap if you think Glenbeigh think they have it won before they play. Over the last 5 or 6 years they have been beaten by last min goals and points, their problem is totally the opposite, they don't believe they can win this competition. Templenoe will be favourites but Glenbeigh's nightmare run will surley end someday.

I can tell you from talking to glenbeigh players before the Brosna game last year that they were looking towards Munster before they even had the county won - a division one team will be favourites for the final - as you said they will surely win it one day!!!!

Well if there were players stupid enough to think that I'm pretty sure they were a minority, Templenoe are now a div1 team as well and have been the bookies favourites since the start.

Any report from the Firies Templenoe game?
Looking forward to the final, has the makings of a cracker. I would slightly fancy Templenoe but obviously it could go either way

The game was in the balance up until the final few minutes, firiies can count themselves unlucky not to win but will look at there failure to score when the game was there to be won I counted 4 times they kicked the ball into the keepers hand in the second half, templenoe moving there full forward to midfield was a big turning point as he won a pile of ball and drove his team forward, the number 8 also kicked 3 impressive points, I think a 6 point win flattered them as firies pushed them all the way the final could be decided by which team is able to nullify the oppositions scoring forwards

Good call but I felt the game was slipping away from firies at that stage and they were getting a bit desperate can't remember now how long was left but yeah Sherwood was having a good game and if he had of stayed on who knows, templenoes late goal made the scoreline more convincing than it was, on another note Killian Spillane's free taking was excellent all game along with a massive score from a 50 yard free by the templenoe number 14 is it Teddy Doyle

Glenbeighs championship to lose - surely with all that inter county experience they cannot blow it this time - despite what they may say raging hot favourites!!!!

Was at both semi's and both team's can play a lot better, as a neutral in my opinion templenoes team is a better all round team and they would seem to have more options to change if things are going against them ,glenbeigh if Grady and darran get enough ball will do damage and should win but if templenoe are able to shackle them its hard to see where the scores are going to come from.
