Not necessarily, PCD could have gotten an equaliser rather than having to go for goal in the last attack. You're concentrating on one moment over a 60 minute game- there are several borderline calls throughout a match that impact on the game and I'm sure PCD had some go their way. They both had 1 good goal chance- the Green took theirs and PCD didnt- that was the deciding factor Granted there are a number of questionable decisions in any game but we do tend to remember the ones at the end of the game as it's easier to see their possible impact on the result. Also in this particular instance even the Tralee lads who provided the video commented on the decision.

I attended the game as a neutral and in my opinion the referee was spot on in that decision. Put it this way, if it happened in the first minute of the game, no-one would have blinked. It's only 'controversial' because it was the last minute. I've always believed that a good referee will make a decision based solely on the event itself, not at what point it happens or what the scoreboard says at the time, and Sean Joy showed yet again why he is such a respected referee at a national level. It was a very good game. My man of the match was probably Gearoid Fitzgerald in midfield for Tralee, I thought his decision-making was fantastic. Williams (9), Kelliher (11), and Daniel Goggin (15) had very good games.Sean Quilter (10) is U14, he was superb in midfield for Austin Stacks in the Feile. They would have won by more if the decision-making, especially shot selection, by their forwards was better, they had several 'hit-and-hope' attempts. Deividas Uosis (10 for Corca Dhuibhne) hit some fantastic scores. I thought Conor O Flannura (corner back) came out with some great ball.

Maybe the day will come when more GAA people and refs will agree with you but it will take time
