Why do ye drink before the match??Doesnt make much sense to me why dont ye just go and watch the match!!Ye're always giving out the dubs having a pint before the game!! Drinking what a waste of time and money!! Most people actually don't drink before the game but the pubs are more of a meeting place. Half of West Kerry will be in the Old Moran hotel. Always meet people there that I only ever see at games.

After Croker- Interesting On our way home from Croker and in great mood we decided to stop in Abbeyfeale. We were going into O Sullivans Bar on the main street and we began to read a notice on the window. It read: "Watch the match on the big screen. After match Disco. Free drinks and Food afterwards, wait IF CORK WIN." Needless to say we didn't go in. Support Cork yes,no problem but dont advertise it publicly. Not a good move by a businesshouse ,we thought on a border town. I wonder what Brosna,Duagh and Knocknagoshel people thought

Possibly Milko but I am not a local and I can only deduct from what I read. It is also easy to be supporters after the result is known. Personally I will not be going in there but then I am not local but had been in there a few times.

bally, i don't think you're aware of the fierce rivalry that exists in that town. I, like milko, socialise in Abbeyfeale most weekends and thank god i'm on the right side of the border. Here's a taste of "Life on the Border" Example A: 2002 Final - Abbeyfeale people celebrating in Armagh Jerseys Example B: 2005 Final - Abbeyfeale people celebrating in Tyrone jerseys Example C: 2007 Semi - Abbeyfeale people dejected in Dublin jerseys.
At the rate they're goin they'll own every county's jersey.
I'm not painting every lmk person with the same brush.some are sound who appreciate kerry's quality but............others, let's not go there
PS - City West was some craic sunday night - Milko you made an early exit!!!!!!!!!!!!
