I think I have a clear idea of what will happen tomorrow now - if Mayo (or enough of their team, and their coach) believe that this is their year, that they are going to win the All-I, then they will win tomorrow. If they don't, they won't make the final. So it's all up to Mayo and it doesn't matter how Kerry plays Let's hope they believe that ;D Safe journey to all travelling.

Good luck to Kerry today, and to all travelling up to the match. I think it will be close, Mayo seem to have a certain fire in their belly's these days, but i think overall we should shade it. Ciarraí Abú

Great to be in croker. Good crowd and a nice smattering of Kerry colours. There will be a good atmosphere here today. Rumours Tomas is out and Bohane in. Huge huge loss if true

Gooch's goal was quality and loved the way he picked the ball up from his back legs and it ended up in his hands. My English friend was spellbound. Gotta feel proud of Gaelic when u see that. A strong performance from defence. Just got tonsay what would do without the o'se's tomas Taim i ngra Leat Up the kingdom!!

C'mon you boys in blue!
Gooch was exceptional today, so natural, I know they're a different sort of player but Id have him ahead of Maurice at this stage. That pick up he made in the second half while he was on the ground, sublime.
I'm happy enough, at times we were tested today today, we seem to be peaking at the right time, it feels good to be in a final again

Tomas O Shea - kept us in that game in the first half when things were looking bad - Tom O Sullivan showed us why he's still around - Galvin picking up breaking ball - Brosnan's save on A O Shea's shot on goal - Darran O Sullivan running at defense - Cooper - what can you say - and seeing Scanlon come on at the end and score that bonus point - along with Galvin's cheeky point - beautiful day - beautiful game - brilliant to be back in a final again -

He was brilliant today - covered every inch of grass - and kept us in it when we were looking poor - true leadership -

As I though before the game, Mayo were never going to cope with Kerry playing to their potential. A good test but one we were n't going to loose. O Leary was very impressive today, his ball winning, distribution and decision making were excellent. Also has an end product in his game with two excellent points. Brosnan came good, excellent stop to prevent goal. As I said before, Maher and Sheehan have been underestimated proving their worth again. Gooch is a genius. Spillane could be right, I'm not around long enough to know whether or not he's the greatest. In my life time he's definitely a class apart. Tomas O shea was imperious despite a couple of wayward passes. Greate to see Galvin come on and looks in fine fettle. There's a sting or two left in this unbelievable team. 8th final in 9 years. Incredible. Well done to all involved. Ciarraí abú.
Looking forward to next week. Will be interesting to see how Dublin cope with Donegal's defensive system.

Great answer to all the questions by Kerry today. Rusty in the first half after no serious game in 2 months and an older age profile. Never panicked. And even with two of their best forwards asleep, and two if their best players apparently not fully fit, they worked out the rustyness and Mayo's youthful, confident stickyness and cruised to victory in a class style.
Of course if Darran OS had scored the early goals, maybe it would have been a cruise all the way, maybe Kerry would have switched off too early (they did a bit near the end), either way they made Mayo look a very ordinary team, and also a very small team - totally over-powered.
Kerry's midfield and backs look fine on the basis of that. If they get DOnaghy on form, and with Dec OS hardly likely to have two quiet games, I say in all honesty they look unstoppable when you add in their experience.
I think if it's Dublin they should make it much harder for Kerry, if they show up, but don't have enough class, don't have Cooper, don't have the experience or belief to do more than that.
If it's Donegal, well sorry to disrespect them but they will be slaughtered. They are about the same as Mayo, and would be facing a ful-strength Kerry at full throttle.
Well done today, I'm very glad that Kerry won because Mayo were not good enough by far to be in a final.

I really hope that the same focus is put on some of the filthy antics by Mayo today the way it would have been if it was the other way around, particularly in the second half
Martin Carney going out of his way to point out the Galvin trip and then trying to play down the knee into Darran as "maybe not intentional", absolutely disgraceful biased broadcasting.

The CCCC have plenty to be looking at after today, Aiden O Shea wont be playing Mayos first championship game next year. Same old Mayo, too easy for Kerry again

I dont agree with you on your point that kerry were rusty going into the game or during the first 20 minutes. They never looked like losing control of the flow of the game.

Nothing more, nothing less, loads still to do.

Is there anywhere you can look at match stats, posessions and completed passes that kind of stuff. How many times was Tomas O Se on the ball in the first half the man was everywhere. Sheehans work rate impressive also. Not sure if the sweeper was to credit for all the balls Star failed to gather, his best is yet to come. It was good to win well with Declan so quiet,we can expect a big game from him in the final. The most impressive player for me was o Leary, great ball winning and good decisions in possession .

It's great to be back in an all ireland final. I wouldn't worry about deco and donaghy being quiet today, these boys are great players and they'll be eager to make up for it in the final. The backs are improving but we are still coughing up goal chances and if it's to be dublin in the final that will cost us. However we have 4 weeks to improve and i personally dont fear anyone.

We will definitely need significant improvement if we are to beat Dublin in the final, {they will account for Donegal}We were under serious pressure when Mayo ran at us - they had a few goal chances, we were also very sloppy in the first half. Great to see a large number of Kerry supporters there supporting this great team.
