totally agree this narries team think they are far better than they actually are. bj keane had a great yr with kerry, BUT.. he musnt not live off that and think things will just happen for him.i agree with longwayfromhome he has gotta get his feet back on the ground. david moran consistently takes too much outta the ball. well done to dingle. and for the narries ye are v average with out tommy walsh but ye will have to just get on without him.

Strand road were pathetic tonight. comfortably beaten by dingle. And if your wondering why kerry didnt feature in all ireland this year, the number of strand road players on the kerry panel showed why! David Hennessy poor, slow off his line for second goal, mike quirke caught a few balls in first seven mins and did nothing after that (literally nothing). Barry john keane did less than quirke and thats saying something. David moran caught a few balls but his distribution was terrible. Barry john walsh showed why he was dropped off kerry team as he was also very poor and continously took the wrong option. Great result for dingle though. Unfortunately there not good enough to beat any of the remainder of the teams left. Judging by strand rd tonight and there previous round against st brendans it was more a case of strand rd bad than dingle good. More importantly, lets hope south kerry dont win the county championship this year, as strand road would represent kerry in munster. Yes this is the same strand road team that has failed to beat another club team in the county champioship in last two years. Ohh someone is bitter, perhaps you would like to show who your team are so we can get really bitter and criticise left, right and centre. Let me give you a stat about beating club teams as you bought it up.....Won Club Championship '09 beating Gaeltacht, Dingle and Ardfert. Won Club Championship '10 beating Legion, Dingle, Stacks and Rathmore....so I make that 7 clubs. Fair enough we were beat by a much better team last night....but I think to try and blame KOR players for Kerrys miscomings in Croker...

County Championship Semi Final Draw South Kerry v Dr. Crokes Dingle v Austin Stacks Jaysas Is there one big hop of the ball in the crokes? Colm is rested and the ground is still in good shape. I persume the Crokes will agree to playing this one in Con Keating Park as most of their ties have been in Fitz stadium in recent times

For anyone who cared to listen last year, I said Tommys departure was a far bigger picture than just a 22 year old sports man looking to making it in the professional game as a novice of that sport. Of course, modern PC will dictate that we must quietly clap and nod heads.

Did't think strand rd were that bad but i do feel that dingle's workrate seperated the teams, greater hunger possibly stemming from strand rd winning the last couple of club championships. For me there are a couple of players in the county that don't get very much recognition because of the game they play and michael geaney and paraic quaid are two of these especially. whenever dingle are in trouble it seems to be michael geaney whos digs them out. a future paul galvin or dooher in the making but was def my man of the match the last night and did well for the 21s this year too. Quaid has pace and fitness that will make it difficult for any1 and i do sincerely believe that Dingle will trouble the stacks...
That being said they are a much more formiddable unit than strand rd and have semi final experience and in big KD, they will prob just have too much gun powder for a dingle team that will surely now be satisfied with their season

Another weekend on the road then ! Looking forward to it.
By the way, for those taking a longer view of things, Kilmurry Ibrickane, the Munster Club champions were beaten in the Clare Semi-final at the weekend .

Presumably South Kerry will make it to the final at the expense of crokes. Kieran Leary a huge loss. Crokes weren't impressive against a poorly prepared and selected West Kerry side. Who will meet SK?? Dingle had great win against Narries but the Stacks should provide a much sterner test. Stacks only lost to Crokes last year by a couple of points and have improved again this year. Can Shanahan restrict Paul Geaney who seems to be Dingle's real danger man? Will Tommy Griffin be able to curb the Star? Dingle had two good wins v Rockies last year. Good game in store...

Really looking forward to these two games on Sunday now...suspect it'll be Dingle & Crokes into the final but it'll be interesting either way. If Dingle do make it to the final, what a fantastic achievement that will be!

I see Crokes are streaming the game live again. That's great news as I won't be down for the games.

South Kerry and Dingle for the final but Dingle and Stacks to be close. A fantastic achievement by Dingle, fair play to them and indeed also a great run by Stacks.

Dunno. Just heard it on Radio Kerry yesterday that he was out . Their South Ky sources are reasonably good but I have not heard anything else about it.

Killian went off injured in the 1st half of the Kilcummin game whether it's that injury or not

Think Killian had to go for grion op - deffo out. Suppose Stephen Sullivan on Cooper. Will be interseting to see how buckley gets on - prob be John Sug and John Golden midfield as Gary Driscoill still in the states.
