Beaufort and Milltown/Castlemaine should be a good game. You would expect the second game to be a formality for Glenbeigh

Beaufort and Milltown/Castlemaine should be a good game. You would expect the second game to be a formality for Glenbeigh Milltown & Beaufort abandoned in 2nd half due to a serious injury to a Milltown player with Beaufort winning 0-07 to 0-04. Hopefully nothing too serious long term and best wishes to the injured player.

Milltown & Beaufort abandoned in 2nd half due to a serious injury to a Milltown player with Beaufort winning 0-07 to 0-04. Hopefully nothing too serious long term and best wishes to the injured player. 8 minutes into the 2nd half, 42 year old Donal Kelliher broke his leg in an accidental collision with a Beaufort player. He had to be taken away by helicopter. In the other quarter final, Glenbeigh Glencar beat Cromane by 1-11 to 1-6 in Cromane. In the first semi-final, Keel got the better of Laune Rangers by 12 points to 9 in Killorglin.

How did the rangers get beaten when they are preparing for an immediate final Keel were the better team on the day. Rangers can have no excuses. They had a strong team out, but didn't capitalise when they had most of the possession in the first half.

Beaufort had both county men playing though neither did much in first half . Would be interesting to see how many county panelist’s play in the respective divisional championships

Mid Kerry final between Beaufort and Keel in Miltown at 2.30 tomorrow. I fancy Beaufort to win it handily enough. They're playing well at the moment. Had a good 2nd half against Miltown and beat Glenbeigh Glencar easily in the semi final. Mike Breen is on form and Ciarán Kennedy will be a real handful for the Keel backs. Keel had a good win against Laune Rangers in the semi-final in poor conditions, but I think that they'll struggle to get enough scores tomorrow.

Beaufort 1-10 Keel 0-12 Poor enough fare in Miltown today. Keel defended deep in the 1st half, making it difficult for Beaufort. Beaufort were constantly taking plays of the ball and moving it around, keeping possession, but causing no real threat. Keel won the ball back and broke at pace, mostly through Keith Evans, but their shooting was atrocious, putting lots of handy chances wide or dropping them short into the arms of Sean Coffey. The highlight of the 1st half was a cracking goal by Mike Breen when he finished the move after winning it back in the middle of the field himself. The 2nd half was largely forgettable stuff. Sean Coffey pulled off one astounding save from an excellent effort by Shane Evans, when he pulled on the ball first time off the ground from a tight angle, after he pounced on a spillage by a Beaufort back. Keel had a chance to force a replay with the last kick of the match, but the goalkeeper Stephan Cahillanes long range free tailed just wide. Mike Breen and Keith Evans had a great tussle all through. Sean O'Brien was in and out of the game for Beaufort. Keels 2n final loss in 2 years, but they're a young team, so they'll fancy their chances of it being 3rd time lucky in 2025
