The closer we tick towards half 5 tomorrow the more apprehensive I'm getting about tomorrow's game.if both teams play to their potential Kerry should win. Just went over the Armagh results in the championship there. They beat Fermanagh handy. Beat down by a point in a low scoring game. Finished level on 20 points with Donegal. Beat Westmeath by 5 in a poor game. Drew with Galway after getting a gift of 1-1 from the Galway keeper. Even allowing for that they still only scored 1-12. Against Roscommon they only scored 2-12 playing against 14 for the entire second half. The anomaly is the game against Derry where they kicked 3-17. This was a Derry team that were in complete disarray and had yet to fall back on the all out defensive plan they fell back on against Mayo and us. So how good Armagh actually are is hard to know. I keep reading and hearing on podcasts about Armaghs bench. Jarly Og, soupy Campbell, Oisin O Neill etc. If everyone is fit we can call on: Killian Spillane, Graham, Cillian Burke, Stephen O'Brien. Adrian Spillane and Dylan geaney as well. If we can break even midfield or even 40% I think we will do it. Matchups will be massive though. I'm sure Armagh will want to pin tom Sullivan back as well A fair run down through Armagh's results there. They can cause problems. Kerry looked very relaxed before the Derry game. They knew exactly what they had to do. Armagh will ask questions of Kerry. Donegal will ask questions of Galway. How Kerry and Galway answer back will go a long way in determining the winner in both semi-finals.

Con Houlhan in Monday's Evening Press - Red orange apples don't ripen till September, green apple pie topped of melting cream over embers, washed down of deoch of Sam Maguire of braonin fhuisce, feed n water us will the boys of the kingdom. .... I'm going to take up poetry says you, I'm reading a Con at the moment so take plenty of no notice.. still in fairness twould be nice ... if we graduated from the smell of Cullens buns in an oven, to the taste of orchard county pie n cream by the window. The firemen returned to find their fire station on fire, as the gallant orchard men played with fire under 'what do you think of that brolly' and the Geeser.. I feel a poem coming on here.... Will it be Galway oysters or Donegal catch, in the final verse of what's another year to remember.

If any Kerry player or supporter wants motivation before tomorrows game, they should look up Philly McMahons headline in the independent today. No problem with anyone saying Kerry will lose or why Armagh will win etc, but that's a piss take Did you not read even the first paragraph? He's just saying what we and everyone else would be saying if it was Armagh v Dublin in the semi. It'd be great if Dublin lost so it'd be a relative new winner which would freshen things up like happened in the hurling last weekend.

"the last thing we need is Kerry picking up a few of those ‘handy’ All-Irelands that, strangely enough, no other county seem able to win." - I like this line.

I think the whole Donaghy being on the Armagh backroom team makes no difference. It's a nice angle for the media etc but, nothing more. It's six years since he was on a pitch with the likes of Tom, David and Seanie. They are totally different players and individuals now. He's unlikely to know anything that a good video analyst wouldn't know. Exactly. There's no real secrets to Kerry. Ciarrai Abu 👍

If anything he is honest but I still don’t like this article. Obviously we don’t see it if Dublin were still in the championship. It’s a totally biased opinion that he is openly allowed to make. I don’t see any good in having an Ulster winner with their defensive play. We want to see that type beaten so we can enjoy football at its best. Any neutral should be looking for the most attractive teams to get the finals to get the best matches.

To be honest Jo I didn't, point taken on neutrals wanting a new winner. I'd argue though with Dublin's recent dominance it will feel like a new team on top anyhow

Anyways, looking forward to the game hopefully we'll have enough on the bench to edge past Armagh Is fearr an Riocht

Dublin Joe is linesman today per the match programme. Between Gough and McQuillan, put the house on David Clifford to get a card.
Edit: Just saw Coldrick as a steward. I hope his new GAA career is more successful than his last.

Okay, who in their right minds thought it was alright for Armagh to wear black? I can hardly distinguish the two teams.

Great save by Shane Ryan.
Good game so far. Should be level really with the wides kicked by Armagh.

Personally, think Gough is a great ref. Kerry backs should stop pulling shirt. Infinitely better match than two weeks ago and significantly better performance. I expect Kerry to strangle Armagh in the finish. I would make one sub at half time though.

A shocking amount of turnovers, by two Kerry forwards in particular, in that first half..... Open at both ends.

It isn't David Clifford I would take off.
