The real action No disrespect to the O'Donoghue Cup, or Mid, West and Tralee/Brendan's districts but NK is a different gravy and crowd pull than the rest.

They never played, despite being refixed twice, the email circulated by NK Board has Listowel listed to play against Senans, one would gather from that, that Asdee have been eliminated. Kinda karma, Bally requested to amalgamate start of the year and Asdee players were in favour. Certain high profile asdee heads would rather see their neighbours fold than give a temporary dig out..... in that regard I'm half delighted...

emmets v saint senans would be an interesting encounter emmets be favorutes but you couldnt rule out Senans Few interesting clashes, a lot Will depend on how the NK Clubs will get on in their respective county finals and the possible fallout the following week, win or lose. Same with Moyvave and Tarbert, Tarbert lost out to their neighbours recently in the divisional 2 NK League so this could be tasty too. Still and all, one cannot look beyond Listowel or Desmonds ...

Otobeawinner - Moving on. 1/4 final stage and it looks quite open at the moment....
To answer your question otobe, Ah yes and no. Ballydonoghue v Knocknagoshel. Ballydonoghue aren't thr force that they once were but still should have enough for Knocknagoshel
St Senans v Listowel Emmets. NK C'ships come around annually but a home Munster Club C'ship is rare rare, Emmetts may benefit from a winning habit and run but do thet want to risk injury etc on a heavy north Kerry pitch.. Emmetts have eyes on a bigger prize, St Senans may benefit.
Beale v Castleisland Desmonds, this will be closer than some expect, Rob Stack vs O'Donoghue will be some clash but Desmonds will eek out the win.
Tarbert v Movyane, Tarbert will be either celebrating or drowning the sorrows after their club final on Sunday .. Moyvane won Div 2 league against a depleted Tarbert and won their first NK C'ship game in seven years by beating Duagh, still if full strength Tarbert should prevail.

I wouldn't disagree with any of what you said there. So yes o*h but a bit predictable. All 4 matches are scheduled to be played on heavy ground. A throw back to the "good auld days it seems". Just not sure about Tarbert though in bally after their Co final.moyvane might be the upset of the round.

Talking about heavy pitches, is Finuge pitch closed? You'd think it would be the ideal venue for listowel v Senans. Always a great atmosphere there.

One of the best fields in NK is Coolard but mainly used for underage and minor games, same with Beale, even in this weather, Beale would be well able surface wise, the only downside would be the lack of parking.

Senans Listowel was scheduled for duagh but with them being in the novice final they hadn’t enough around to run it Ballylongford pitch is in good condition even after all the rain should be a good battle tomorrow

I doubt any region in Ireland has as many playable pitches this time of the year, especially after the worst rain on record.
Pitches in NK are a credit to their clubs.
For NK atmosphere, as a player, it's hard to beat Ballylongford, running out on to the pitch in between the crowd and a packed stand literally 5 yards from the fence, is one hell of a way to get the motivation up.

Senans 2-11 Listowel 0-13 after extra-time.
No real surprise that Listowel were flat after the high of last weekend. Never got any rhythm going against a tigerish Senans for whom Cillian Trant ran the show in midfield. Eddie Healy the pick of Emmets but Senans deserved this one.
