Is Conor Meyler one of the most filthiest players in the game now. Non stop pushing dragging, roaring in fellas ears. No wonder they all chased him down the tunnel at half time. Horrible individual

Such a controlled and accurate performance - we built from the back, our ability to turnover and carry ball out of defence was first rate. Our kick passing was exceptional - difference in core skills was evident. Tyrone had no answers. Two games back to back where we took the game to the opposition with speed and intensity. Peaking at the right time. A great team performance. Loads of players to call out but Shane Ryan was some authority out there - kudos. Graham and Paul carried some amount of ball and drove fwd at every opportunity. Bigger tests ahead, thankfully we have found our blueprint (again).

2 weeks ago we had to take into account that it was only Louth and not to get carried away.
It's hard to play down Yesterday.
Kerry made Tyrone look poor.
It's the most composed mature performance I've seen from a Kerry side in years.
As for being a one man team I think people got their answer yesterday.
You could name check any player but I was delighted for DOC who had a Rolls Royce performance and Paidi who brought Myler all over Croke Park..

Great win. Nerves finally settled. By my reckoning if Dublin and Derry win tomorrow which is the way the bookies have it, then we will play Dublin in the semi. Monaghan and Derry have met and repeat pairings will be avoided. Am I right? If Derry and Dublin win tomorrow, we will have to play either Monaghan or Derry - otherwise they would have to play each other which is to be avoided if possible. If Cork and Dublin win, we will draw Dublin or Monaghan to avoid Cork in a repeat pairing. If Cork and Mayo win, we could draw any of Cork, Mayo and Monaghan as a repeat pairing will be unavoidable. If Derry wnd Mayo win, we will draw Derry or Monaghan, to avoid Mayo in a repeat pairing. So by my reckining, the only possibility of playing Dublin is if Cork win and Dublin win and then its a possibility only. If I got the above arseways, apologies! Thanks Taggart. I got that completely wrong. Brain not working in all the excitement. Tom

I wonder who Tyrone will blame for their actions yesterday. At what point will something be done about it? When the game was gone from them some of the off the ball stuff was very nasty even by their own quite low standards.

The Armagh fans around us certainly showed their dislike for Tyrone, it was gas. They were so irate during the mixer in the tunnel. Someone’s mentioned it already but the collective gasp for that Clifford pass was one of the best things I’ve ever heard in Croke Park. We all just nodded and smiled at each other like he is our son or something 😂 We are so lucky to be living in the Clifford era. Nothing else to add apart from the oxygen those early turnovers gave our defence. We have so often been on the other side of those against Tyrone. Another few hours of basking before the games today! Enjoy!

Very enjoyable performance from Kerry today with strong performances throughout the team. A small bit of caution as Tyrone were poor and in particular lacked the focussed intensity that makes them dangerous. They have sputtered all year with inconsistent performances and today they ran out of steam in the second half in particular - partly down to Kerry intensity but largely down to their own lack of energy. Tyrone were well in that game up to half time. Thought our forwards really struggled in first half, Tyrone’s defence was for the most part solid, cracks started appearing just before half time. Second half was a demolition. Kerry’s defence was impregnable. They just ground them down, ruthlessly. Meyler and number 6 O’Neill? In first half disgraceful stuff

Horrible individual Let's not be naive, Paudie gave him as good as he got. I'd have replaced Paudie when we were in front by so much. Second yellow didn't mean much yesterday but if receives another double yellow in the Semi-Final he would miss the final if we get there (I believe) Tom O'Sullivan was at the same craic with Canavan before Canavan finally cracked and dragged Tom down in a headlock late on and got a couple of digs in.

It was a magnificent performance, probably the best since Jack's return last year; we were so sharp in everything we did - super defence who tackled without fouling, great tracking back from our midfield and half forwards and the attack sublime when we carved them open.
Think Tyrone's capitulation in the second half was down to a no of factors - our kicking accuracy and our fitness. A few Tyrone players were out on their feet midway in the 2nd half but we were relentless - our kicking game was superb though and the big change from earlier rounds - seeing pinpoint passes into players running free was something else.
Jack & Co deserve such praise - he has assembled an impressive team around him, a real brains trust.
Meyler and McCurry should be making a return trip to Croke Park soon for disciplinary reasons - McCurry for his punch on Graham O'Sullivan which took place under the nose of the linesman who decided not to intervene and Meyler for his off the ball antics on Paudie - accept it takes two to tango but believe there was so much sledging that it merits investigation - Paudie gave up the chance of a mark in the first half and took on Meyler - he was eventually given a free but his reaction to something Meyler said was instant and only the quick intervention of PauL G and Seanie prevented a much worse outcome.
Final note - when will the GAA get their act together on competing teams sharing the same dressing rooms side? A la, Galway/Armagh last year, situation at half time could easiily have resulted in a melee - there were plenty of verbals with one Kerry second half substitute getting in a hefty shoulder charge on Meyler as he departed.

Big day for Kerry, no doubt about our talent, for me it’s about over coming the phycological battle, let’s home management have us prepared, when the ball is thrown in your on your own. My view below on match ups and who wins/neutral I am seeing 3 wins in each forward line and double win MF for Tyrone, with a few neutrals thrown in. Kerry - 5 Tyrone - 6 Neutral - 3 For me the 3 neutrals can shift the game, could also argue DC is a 2x K. Back to my original statement, mentally ready, that goes for both sides. It’s going to be tight, unless we can unleash the goal machine. 17 to 1-12 to kerry Graham v Ruairi - T Jason v Mcurry - K Tom v DARRAGH - T Paul v Harte - T Tadhg v Matti - neutral Gavin v Mcgearry -K D &Jack v con & Brian - TT Dara v Quinn - Neutral Seanie v O Neill - K Adrian v M Mckiernan- T David v Halsey - K Paudie v meyler - K Paul v Ronan Mc - Neutral Cruel but it will be interesting to see how the player rating comparisons pan out, bearing in mind the diminishing 'man on man' aspect of game and which takes a new meaning with pack hunting. Someone suggested that a camera should be following DC all day, just to put the intensive care in perspective. Ah we'll give as good as we get though we'll need to be forensically in tune with the ref. See my famous last words - now do the sums!

I gladly confirm I think we won all the match ups yesterday, I was correct on my prediction kerry to win, not far off in my 17 points did not see kerry getting the goals, also had the 12 points for Tyrone.😂

In England soccer in the 80s/90s we had an infamous club called Wimbledon or crazy gang they known as. They used intimidatory tactics lead by thug Vincent‘Vinnie’ Jones. It brought them relative success including FA Cup final victory over Liverpool.
Tyrone are the Gaelic football version in my opinion. Like Wimbledon they have talented players but this is overshadowed by the ‘dark arts’ as they are called sometimes. Like all bullies when confronted properly they crumble eventually. The turnover defensive determined attitude of Kerry was awesome to watch similar to Ireland Rugby team firing on all cylinders a sight to behold. Combined with skill talent a winning formula. I believe tally had a positive effect.
I thought at half time Aidan Spillane typified Kerry’s attitude when he turned to confront a Tyrone player who was sledging I think it called. It shouldn’t be necessary but until the authorities clamp down on this it will be. Well done lads I enjoyed the game in England with Kerry mother: Ciarri Abu

It shouldn’t be necessary but until the authorities clamp down on this it will be. Well done lads I enjoyed the game in England with Kerry mother: Ciarri Abu I think we have two players who are complete mouthpieces (you can probably guess who) but most of the lads are alright sorts in my admittedly biased view. It's easy for a couple of players to give a team a bad name. Lads like Mattie Donnelly and Peter Harte, who are probably going to call it a day now, are very decent. I wouldn't really say we're a particularly dirty side as such, we have two players who mouth a lot and that's probably the height of it. Again in my view. Generally most good/great teams have a couple of scamps. Whether Tyrone are worse is up for debate and people are perfectly entitled to that opinion. Even Dublin under Jim Gavin, who came across as if butter didn't melt in his mouth, had their share. On the whole, while there was some tetchiness during the game, it seemed like all the players shook hands and offered their best wishes at the final whistle, including one of the aforementioned mouthpieces. Anyway fair play. I admire teams who can come back year-on-year because Tyrone have struggled to maintain that consistency down the years, particularly as defending champions. I thought possibly our hunger would be greater yesterday but that obviously wasn't the case. I also underestimated a few of your players and thought we'd have greater joy up front but that didn't transpire either.

Let's say we draw Dublin tonight and they're coming through after a fierce scrap and we've strolled in with all the hype on us. Need to get back down to earth very quickly. Huge game in 2 weeks no matter the opponent

Cheers. I think calling the team 'bullies' in a general sense was a bit off the mark. If anything Tyrone have been oddly subdued since winning the All-Ireland in 2021 before the manner of last week's win over Donegal gave us a bit of hope again. I've attached what I thought was a nice picture from yesterday, I think on the whole there is respect between the teams. Anyway we're not the story today so good luck with the rest of the campaign. Does anyone really know what’s happening with semi finals?
Is it Munster vs Connacht , Leinster vs Ulster or an open draw?

regardless of who we get in semi, i hope people travel in the same numbers no matter if its Dublin/mayo or the 2 Northern teams.
decent crowd yesterday but this team deserves better, its time for Kerry supporters to start stepping up now like last year.

Last weeks games looked like it took a lot out of Cork and Tyrone so I wonder will it impact Mayo. Monaghan on the other hand we’re still going at the end of ET so who knows.

The result in the Dublin/Mayo game makes no difference for the draw.
Kerry can only draw Monaghan or Derry for the semi-final and the odds are 50:50 between the two.
