Mid kerry semi finals tomorrow one at 12 and the other at 2:30 should be two cracking games 2 hard games to call. Beaufort and Glenbeigh/Glencar will both be missing players. Confidence can't be too high in Beaufort after getting well beaten by Rathmore in the intermediate semi final while GG's win against Dromid Pearses in the intermediate relegation final wasn't competitive, as Dromid rested most of their players as they prioritised today's South Kerry final. A hesitant vote for Beaufort in this one, but it won't surprise me if it goes to Glenbeigh too. Miltown/Castlemaine beat Cromane in the 1/4 final, after pulling away easily in the 2nd half. This game should stand to them against a Laune Rangers side whose last competitive match was way back against Rathmore in the intermediate 1/4 final, but Cillian Burke is a huge loss for them. It's very hard to accurately predict what's going to happen when teams have been out of action for so long, but If Laune Rangers can reproduce the football that they played for most of that match against Rathmore, which they had in the bag until 10 minutes from the final whistle, I'll tip them to come through in a very tight game. Again, a win for Miltown Castlemaine wouldn't be a huge surprise either.

Beaufort and Glenbeigh Glencar went to extra time, before Beaufort pulled through in the penalty shootout which went to sudden death. Beaufort's opponents in the final next Sunday will be Miltown Castlemaine. Their semi final against Laune Rangers also went to extra time, where they won by 4 points in semi darkness.

Final tomorrow between beaufort and Milltown/Castlemaine hard one to call and conditions will play a big factor Beaufort down a lot of players, so Miltown Castlemaine would be slight favourites for me. I'd expect it to be very tight though, could even go to a replay.

Beaufort win by 1-11 to 0-9. Not as close as I thought it would be!! They were very comfortable all through. Ger Hartnett, Timmy Casey, Mike Breen, Nathan Breen, Ronan Murphy, Sean O'Brien, Danny Healy, Kieran Dennehy and Liam Carey were all prominent for Beaufort. Miltown Castlemaine just didn't have the legs for it today. A lot of their players, especially in the forwards are well into their 30's and this could be seen in an attritional match which was played in tough conditions. Pa Wrenn and David Roche were best for Miltown Castlemaine in a match that was well refereed by Keels Billy O'Shea.
