Fair enough yes a blow to us but hes young had an awful year so best of luck to him ! Hoping keegan hangs on another year. Id say you guys or the dubs will win sam sadly not us ODonoghue, Conroy and OConnor is a serious FF line. Mayo will get a bounce out of Mcstay too. Mullin is a huge loss there's no getting away from that. And the elephant in the room is what to do with Aidan OShea. Thanks! Yes will be great to have conroy back. If I am honest I am no fan of Aiden o shea has never scored when it matters and just wants to show off it seems I say leave him on the bench and let the younger ones shine. I think kerry will go far if not win it next year

Not A fan of the big man, in all honesty, think he is overrated and un f iu fortunately goes into hiding when needed the most in big games. Murphy stood up when Donegal needed him, seminar Seanie or DC for us nowadays, Declan, Donaghy or Cooper likewise... Cooper, Connolly and Rock for Dublin.... they never shirked. Mayo's best game or display was beating Dublin in extra time- that day AOS was removed from the field. My opinion, leave him at FF and persist with him there, in his defence he does get thrown from pillar to post... leave at FF or suggest club football Your totally right agree 100% and what kind of manager puts him back on after playing so badly? Only in mayo of who knows who he needs to go hope mcstay can stand up to that kind of ninsence thats costs us over the years! Good luck to you guys next year though not to much 😂

I can’t see us being anywhere near relegation trouble. Since 2019 we have won most games that we’ve played in the league. I don’t see that changing dramatically unless we’re missing key players. Even missing key players, I can't see us struggling. The example is we put Mayo to the sword in the league final this year without Seanie. Even excluding any new comers wanting to make an impression, looking at the panel players that we had this year would trouble most county teams. Sure EK alone would survive well in division two ... not to mind the rest if the County included. Yes you did it was a slaughter match for us but that was our mayo b even c team and we just didnt want to be there our heart wasnt in it we held you for a lot of the quarter final game and we werent our best at all wouldnt take to much from that league final haha

I think that's a massive mistake and the best thing for Mayo is a roll on the bench.

What's the reason for a 12.45 start in Omagh I wonder?
Means the team will definitely have to travel up the night before and stay-more expense though probably would have done so anyway

Either way, isn’t it great to be talking league ball when Sam is only jest settling in.

3.45pm start in Ballybofey on 29th January isn't exactly convenient for anyone except the home team!

3.45pm start in Ballybofey on 29th January isn't exactly convenient for anyone except the home team! it does give us supporters time to get up there though! defo rather 3.45 as opposed to the mad early throw in, in Tyrone. all depends on what people want - stay over night Saturday, drive up and down, stay Sunday etc. will be late home, early rise for sure anyway but its only an extra hour or so you could argue. team probably doesnt make the flight from Dublin to Kerry for the Donegal game though.

Having been struck down with this god almighty dose Christmas was a write off.
So I'm trying to look forward to the start of the league in 4 weeks.
Looking at what's the best overnight options and I'm struggling to find accommodation.
Where do the Kerry supporters generally socialise when we play in Castlebar ?

Well Mike Byrnes would be THE GAA bar in Castlebar. Lovely pint of porter and the man himself is a very warm, welcoming and knowledgeable man! If you're out for a few after the game defo call in there at some point.
The last time I was in Castlebar was the last League match on the Sunday before the first Covid lockdown. I was in the Irish House getting food after, a nice big place where the Kerry supporters club crowd were also in.

Mick Byrnes pub is where most GAA people go - great GAA man and a lover of the horses.

Thanks lads,
Cannot find accommodation in castlebar.
Looks like Westport is the only option.
None in Tralee either for the Armagh game.

Any guess at a team for the Cork game?
Huge amount of weddings lately for the players, a good few will be missing.
